  • Its funny that no body here knows the Jerry use to be a former Scientologist

  • even i thought that was funny

  • As a 1990's automobile I'm very offended!

  • 240P GET OUUUT!

  • bring back seinfield!!

  • @JessieKetias

    Holy shit (literally) Batman!

I feel dumber for having read your comment.

  • If you’re a Seinfeld fan, then check out “The Seinfeld Rap” that I made. I also made a music video/picture show to go along with it. I put a lot of work into it and if you’re a fan of the show, I think you will really like it. Check out my channel, it is my latest upload. Thank you for listening.

  • @JessieKetias We can't create life but we're getting good at modifying it. We have a synthetic yeast strain that has a completely artificial genome, complete with coded phrases written in the DNA.

Doesn't it bother you that the entire fields of biology and geology are grounded so completely in the fact that the earth is billions of years old? You can't honestly think ur smarter than the (tens?) of thousands of phD's in either field.

And the idea of forever is just as abstract as the big bang...

  • @JessieKetias It's funny how logic evades people. You say all religious people go to heaven, yet the bible, torah and quran clearly state that only believers in THEIR religion go to heaven. I'm not proud to be an atheist, but i am proud that I have a brain and am not afraid to use it

  • What is the deal with Scientology?

  • @angrycowtipper read about the forced abortions, the slave labour camps, the physical and mentals abuses by the cult's leader david miscavige and lisa mcpherson's death.

  • Actually, Jerry is a Scientologist. So the credit should probably go to the writer of the episode. Larry David maybe?

  • @nitejrny Jerry used to be a Scientologist, I think in high school or college and then he realized its a fraud of a religion

  • @FabioFresh That makes me fell better. When I read it on Cracked.com it broke my heart a little.

  • @FabioFresh That's great that he realised that. Now we just need the other 1 billion Christians, 1 billion Moozies and 1billion Hindus to wake up and realise that ALL religion is a fraud!

  • Mowabbs.

  • 82 scientologist's dislike the video it seems.

  • scientology is just as stupid as every other religion. it's just more modern so calling it bullshit is more acceptable. but if someone came along 60 years ago and talked about burning bushes that spoke, evil snakes, and jewish zombies then christianity would be in the same league as scientology.

  • let's hear it for irrational reaction

she can't act like no one's ever taken a stab at scientology before. EVERY non-scientologist does

  • xenu take the wheel

  • I wonder if Tom Cruise came over to Jerry's apartment and jumped up and down on his sofa for taking a crack at Scientology?

  • "Xenu is my copilot"

  • 81 people were trapped in the closet with John Travolta & Tom Cruise while R. Kelly pulled out his gun.

  • @TheGrungeGamer South Park FTW

  • Bravo, making fun of Scientology before it was a mainstream thing to do. Now it's all mainstream...

  • @liquid1122 I called shit mainstream before calling shit mainstream was mainstream.

  • @liquid1122 Shut the fuck up. You're obnoxious.

  • @BigBrightBlueBox I was typing, not actually talking.

  • @liquid1122 You're kidding.

  • @liquid1122 fucking hipster.

  • I read in this article that Jerry has spawned an interest in scientology recently...so had Will Smith

  • scientology is pretty whacked, but no crazier than that whackjob judaism religion

  • Classic episode! Unrealistic, but mad funny just the same.

  • thumbs up if u saw the southpark episode bout scientolgy n understood the symbolisim behind he locked himself in the closet!

  • u do know that jerry seinfeld the former jew is a sceintologist right ? wow ur all idiots if u think hes taking shots at it cuz he thinks "its dumb "

  • @fatboybread hes not a scientologist anymore...he mightve been when this was filmed though idk

  • @fatboybread err that was back in 1977ish. I"m glad he's out of that cult. I just hope he hasn't joined something worse like christianity.

  • Scientology sucks! truly the lowest forms of all life follow that religion

  • Tom Cruise sure is sensative just ask Matt Lauer.

  • classic seinfeld

  • is her reaction any different from followers of any other religion lol

  • tom cruise is an evil alien!

  • Scientologists believe in the craziest things.

  • I miss Seinfeld :(

  • @yipkusin At least we have good shows to fill the gaping void! Like Glee, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Jersey Shore, ...

OH WHAT AM I KIDDING!!! BRING BACK SEINFELD!!!!

  • Scientology is so f--cking weird. How the hell do people fall for such crap? For the record, I think all religion is false, but this is the 21st century, how are people falling for NEW religions still?

  • @kuwinsitall lol just the concept of a new religion is pretty funny. it's like, say islam came around 1100 so did everyone before that go to "hell"? not even worth thinking about religion is so stupid.

  • Wasn't Jerry a Scientologist in the 70s or something lol.

  • And there's the car lol

  • lol thats awesome

  • and they didnt get sued?

  • @mvman14 You can't win a lawsuit for people teasing a religion. Otherwise the Muslim community wouldn't get all bitchy about draw Muhammad day, and the Vatican would own most of South Park Studios.

  • failed science fiction author, somewhere be jokes

  • Scientologists should live in trees. Cause they're nuts.

  • When they wrote the 'South Park' episode where everything Butters attempts he's told that 'Simpsons already did it' the writers sent a copy of the script to the Simpsons writers. The Simpsons writers sent back an un used script from the late 90's where Homer is told that everything he tries to do 'was done on Seinfeld'...

  • Its too bad they ruined the story of Xenu by coming up with a whacky religion because the story wouldve made a great sci-fi movie.

  • Black people think white are conspiring against them, White people think Jews are conspiring against them, Jews think scientologists are conspiring against them, scientologist think ... yeah, what do scientologists think? by the look of them they dont seem to be able to think at all.

  • Comment removed

  • @Siriuzz The real word is conspiring.

  • Even if Julia was jewish I don't think it's a big ass deal.

  • To bad you can't make fun of jews on TV

  • @oracleofdelphire sure you can ever heard of the goldbergmoneygrabers

  • Jerry Jerry! Jerry Jerry!

  • @skcabtewon - Julia Louis-Dreyfus isn't jewish

  • @Tansey81

yes she is. but michael richards isnt, nor is wayne knight.

  • @mcpencil - Good call about Michael Richards and Wayne Knight; I looked it up and you are correct. But I'm still pretty sure -- almost certain -- Julia is not a jew. Her biological mother is not jewish and she never converted.

  • @Tansey81

The whole "jewishness passed through the mother" thing is a religious concept. Since jewish is both a religion and an ethnicity, we do not have to subscribe to the religious interpretation, since she is secular, and we all live in secular societies. I believe her father is jewish, and her being half-jewish is good enough for me, as in my experience, secular half-jews identify as jewish. But yes, she is not full-blooded (i actually thought she was).

  • @mcpencil Word. The way I think of it is, if you would have died in the Holocaust, you get to be a Jew. If my dad was a Jew, I would be roasted, so, I'm going to call myself a fucking Jew and fuck people who try to take that away.

  • @SirDamienQFox

That is exactly right, and I have actually thought of that holocaust example before. If I would have been targeted in the 1940s, then I get to call myself jewish. After all, the entire jewish identity was not created through religion at all, it was created by collective persecution on a consistent basis.

  • @mcpencil Word. Never talked to someone about this before. Thanks for sharing the insight. Peace.

  • @SirDamienQFox

most people in australia can't comprehend the distinction between the religion and the ethnicity, simply because they both come under the same word. And then when you think they're getting it, they say "ohhhhh... so you're an israeli?"

  • this was such a clever show

  • Everyone hates Jerry until he does something they agree with- that's because he's a loser

  • They sure ARE sensitive!

  • Jerry Seinfeld practiced Scientology for awhile. He has spoken against critics of the religion. Having said that Scientology is for loonies.

  • I'm trying to understand how this is 'stabbing Scientology'.

Is it where Jerry said that Scientologists can be sensitive? Or when the Scientologist let them out right where they wanted to go?

“Yeah, well I didn’t do very much. I don’t know that much, I just did a little but I liked it,” Seinfeld said.

  • The problem with scientology is the gross disregard for human life. As far fetched as their beliefs may be. (im not saying all other religions are not just as far fetched) There is no problem with people believing what they choose to believe. But at the cost of their lifes savings? 300,000 dollars to "reach enlightenment" is pretty fucking disgusting.

  • @Hobomedic And that's just the tip of the iceberg. As someone who has read alot into scientology I can safely say, paying 300,000 dollars is nothing compared to the shit many of their members have had to go through.

  • According to Wikipedia, Jerry Seinfeld is a Scientologist.

  • @masgeo unable to find that

  • Hmmm.... I wonder if Jews are sensitive?

  • @jneedee Only when Nazi's try to gas them.

  • crazy joe davola is probably a scientologist in the Seinfeld universe

  • lol

  • would have loved to be a laughing passenger in that car..but then again I would have been disconnected and fair game.....

  • you know what? i'd always thought Seinfeld was a scientologist.

  • @Vidhole he used to be but he is not one anymore.

  • why do people analyze Seinfeld ? its pointless to do so

  • It's funny because it's true.

  • Jerry was the least funny out of the four, i always watched and do watch for the other 3 characters, Jerry had a bad hairdo and very bland, so never understood why he was the lead?

    Never understood Jerrys popularity.....

  • @yusafzai08 Exactly his lame jokes is what made the sitcom, thats why the show wasn't called "Jerry". His attempt at success as a comedian became Larry Davids' ground for making a sitcom. Jerry Seinfeld as a comedian never will be famous but Seinfeld the show will always be famous and genius

  • @spooninspoon This is so true

  • 1 minute ago The fact of the matter is that people can join cults if they want to. They have that freedom. Its people who want to strip that freedom away who have problems. We all have the ability to make our own decisions granted to us by god, intelligence and the ability and freedom to make our own choices. If someone wants to join a cult and drink juice and die I say let them. They can make the choices but they have to deal with the consequences. Its no ones right to take that away.

  • @wulfshelmut That's not what we want to take away. The fact is that Scientology is allowed to run in nearly every country in the world as either a religion or as a charitable organisation meaning they pay absolutely no tax on the millions of dollars they make every year. In other words we are paying the tax for them because they are supposedly doing the community a service.

The German government officially views scientology as a commercial organisation which is how everyone should view it.

  • @TylerDurdenMakesSoap

Freemasonry isn't a cult bro...they're bizarre but they're not after your money and you can have any religion and still be a Freemason. Though I know you have to draw the cult line somewhere.

  • The weird thing is Jerry is a former scientologist

  • @Grisha1994 Hahaha! Yeah, until his Jewish mom found out and smacked him upside the head! lol

  • What religions are wrong and right? - iuchat . com

  • @DiazRemington cant tell you whats right. but scientology is sure as hell wrong. unless you really believe in xenu and thetans. lol

  • @jjk696969

as opposed to a man walking on water or coming back to life after a few days? lol

  • @agkrondiras yeah that sounds pretty rediculous as well. u could always believe a guy went into the forest and found two gold plates with messages from god too

  • @jjk696969 The idea of Xenu and Thetans is no more ridiculous than a talking snake and all of the other crazy ideas that go along with more popular religions. You can't claim Scientology is wrong based on ludicrousness unless you're willing to claim all other religions wrong on that same basis. If people want to believe in Thetans and E-meters and resurrections and talking snakes and oceans spreading apart then let them. Really it doesn't affect me if they do.

  • @Seirnflow26

The beliefs of Sci have never been the issue. I would advise you too look into 'Operation Snow White' the 'Paulette Cooper' incidents and the related 'fair game policy.

For Op Snow White a number of high ranking Sci members, including LRon's wife, were convicted of infiltrating government agencies for the purpose of altering/removing records pertaining too Sci.

It is such crimes as this, as well as a multitude of human rights violations that is the issue, not the theology.

  • @jjk696969 I find it funny how people make fun of scientology because of "xenu and thetans", but take talking snakes, burning bushes, and a guy sitting in the clouds watching and listening to everyone as fact.

  • @kihhn yeah me too if youd scroll down youd see i poked fun at radical christians and mormons too. but if you wanna defend a rediculous religion created by a very mentally ill, greedy, dispicable man (not to mention a SCIENCE FICTION writer) that is more crooked than the cathloic church then be my guest. christianity has an unbelieveable story too but at least you dont have to write them out a check to join

  • @jjk696969

or jesus, muhammed, joseph smith or allah..the fictionals character from the department of bullshit: Religion..

  • @ashy6793 buddha, vishnu, the list goes on

  • @jjk696969 Mormonism is way way worse did you know they have more then one wife and some of them are as young as 14 f*cken sick.......!

  • @METALMAN4Wii Thats fucked dude 14? mormons sould all just die:)

  • @HigherPower2010 Hey, Scientologists tend to be insane, and i would border that with Mormons, but in all seriousness when was the last time you heard about a Mormon locking up a woman in one of their centers for days and letting her starve to death. Mormons are nice people, but Scientologists resort to ad-homonyms when you confront them. Not saying that either are right though.

  • @jjk696969 It's as good as any other religion...aka evil.

  • @jjk696969 god is an equally stupid proposition...

  • @jjk696969 Scientologists proved one thing though. That any religion can just as well be something like Scientology and be completely bullshit.

  • @jjk696969 It's no more or less wrong than christianity or islam or any other world religion though ;D

  • @MandibleMuge It is because it's a pyramid scheme. If either being a Christian or Islam forced you to pay then I'd be as opposed to them as I am to scientology.

  • @Maddolis Putting aside the methods of the organization of the religion (which I am not referring to, and if I was, Major World Religions have done far worse than anything Scientology has come close to) the actual belief regarding Xenu and the aliens and the volcanoes, is no more ridiculous than the religion 35% of the world subscribes to. Or any of the others.

Basically, I hate this new pecking order that makes christians think they can scoff at the "Ludicrous" beliefs of others.

  • @MandibleMuge It is certainly hypocritical however I'm sure most of the terrible things mainstream religions you cite have done would just be typical people with power using religion as an excuse. It doesn't say anywhere in the bible to raid the holy land over 5 wars or whatever, but plenty of people use it as an excuse for whatever violence they act out.

  • @Maddolis Oh, I know, many people have used religion as a smoking gun to rally behind, but like I said, the beliefs itself and the Organization are different. The people you mentioned are who make up (or rather, once made up) the Organized Religion.

And sure, I'm not saying the bible is malevolent or anything, but it is pretty homophobic. And pro-slavery. And Misogynistic... But that was just my interpretation.

  • @MandibleMuge And you are correct. The bible is the most racist "religious" book there is particularly the Old Testament where God is smiting everyone but the "jews". Religion poisons EVERYTHING.

  • @zapkvr I think the book of mormon is even more racist

  • @jjk696969 or unless you believe in an invisible man in the sky who created the earth 4,000 years ago and sacrficed his son, i mean himself, for our sins. Because that sounds more logical

  • @TheCrisisKings never said that was logical either. but atleast christianity, islam, judaism etc. werent invented by a child molesting drug addict in the modern era where people should be able to see through the fantasy and superstition.

  • @jjk696969 And yet, most religions have scripture related to child abuse and pedophilia and we still have billions of people who follow those religions

  • @TheCrisisKings Which scripture?

  • @XXGDUBSXX its widespread across many scriptures. Altar boys, even, solely served one purpose...to sexually please missionaries as they traveled the seas. Selling your daughter into slavery was not an uncommon thing in the bible (Exodus 21:7). And yet, you mock Scientology which has no more basis in truth than any other religion

  • @TheCrisisKings Im not mocking scientology.

  • @TheCrisisKings what's wrong with pedophilia?

  • If you'd have read my earlier comment before the one you just read you'd have seen that I wasn't arguing about the existance of god. But rather about what makes a good religion. As I was saying it doesn't really matter what it teaches as long as it's free to join and the entire belief system and information isnt hidden from the public. Scientology drains people's wallets and then some and afterwards, people still don't know what it's about underneath.

  • @TylerDurdenMakesSoap

Yeah...for all we know in the future Scientology may become a bona fide religion, even though now it's just garbage.

  • Scientology is a religion...as evil as any other organized religion. Christian churches expect 10% of your money, that's more than the average Scientologist pays.

I am in now way defending Scientology or religions, I'm just saying that the only reason Scientology is treated like a cult is because it has so few members. Christianity is basically a cult with 2 billion members.

  • @SuperElm

Scientology is not treated as a cult because of the money it asks from its members but because it aims at controlling the life of its members. This is what makes Scientology different from other religions.

  • @MartijnSavenije

Look at Christianity in the medieval days. It was MUCH worse than scientology is now.

  • @SuperElm

that is all true, fact is that we dont live in the medieval days. In the year 2010 human rights apply, they did not in the medieval age.

  • @MartijnSavenije

I understand your point, but even now Christianity isn't clean. Have you heard about the child molestations? Chruch's still charge member's tithes. A tithe is 1/10 of what you make, Scientology does not charge that. I think all organized religion need to be destroyed if we want to live in pure peace (except for Buddhism and Hinduism, they never seem to do anything wrong).

  • @SuperElm Yea, Scientology only charges its members a few hundred thousand dollars for courses to help them live life. Who needs tithes?

  • @orion00

The Hollywood members of Scientology DO pay a lot of money, but the lower down members pay much less. The same with tithes. I'm guessing you're a Christian who refuses to accept that your religion isn't very Christ-like after all and is just a way for the people up top to get money.

  • @SuperElm Jumping to assumptions is unbecoming. I'm agnostic-atheist and against any form of organised religion. Scientology is purely a cult/money making facade and while numerous Christian sects are very money oriented, they do not come close to how manipulative Scientology really is.

I felt the need to address your post as it seems to show Scientology in a passable light ... not to defend Christianity.

  • @orion00

Christianity is manipulative and evil in a different way. Christians have a political agenda, Scientologists don't. For example Christians have stopped gays from being able to marry and they try to get creationism taught in school. Scientologists don't do this crap. Both religions are evil in their own way, and while it's easy to say Christianity is LESS evil simply because you don't want to offend the billions of Christians out there....the truth is that they are not very far apart.

  • @SuperElm Scientologists don't have a political agenda? You're kidding right? I'm sure you've heard of their 'fair game' policy and their tendency to use courts and picketing to harass negative criticism. Yes Christianity has it's negatives but has also been around far longer so it has an established base. Scientology, however, has a different and much more dangerous approach to dealing with opposition.

  • @orion00

They have a political agenda, but normally in protecting themselves. Sure they are against freedom of speech but they don't ostracize or penalize people for being who they are. Christianity does.

  • @SuperElm What in the world are you talking about? Which religion/cult does not protect itself? They don't penalize people for being who they are? I suppose you haven't read L Ron Hubbard's views on homosexuality and scientology's anit-psychiatry movement and the like.

  • @orion00

L Ron Hubbard is just one guy...not all his views have moved onto Scientology. Maybe I was wrong, though. Maybe Scientology has many bad regulations. It still does not persecute gays (Tom Cruise is a member for God's sake) as much as Christianity. Now stop arguing your neocon ass.

  • @SuperElm So the founder of a cult is 'just one guy'? Given the chance, the base, the numbers I don't doubt Scientology will top Christianity for sheer manipulation and ruthlessness.

  • @orion00

But it hasn't so far. Stop defending Christianity at every opportunity.

  • @SuperElm Who is defending Christianity? All I see is you making excuses for Scientology. I have no reason to defend Christianity when I don't follow it.

  • @orion00

You, you refuse to accept that Christianity has oppressed and killed far more people than Scientology. Stop making excuses. Scientology is a mind controlling cult, but Christianity is an even more evil mind controlling cult.

  • @SuperElm You seem to read what you want to read. Please show me where I have defended or made excuses for Christianity? You're comparing a religion's past with an emerging cult, they're both oppressive but yet you seem to view it with bias rather than objectivity

  • @orion00

We are all biased bro. I am simply aware of my biases. I hate organized Christianity as well as Scientology. I may have made some exaggerations to prove my point, and that is not cool, but oh well.

  • @SuperElm We are but we shouldn't be. I used to hate Christianity with a passion after I left my religion but there are far worse out there. No point in hating, just being objective works.

  • @orion00

I guess so, I was probably overly harsh on Christianity, especially modern Christianity. Now it's not as barbaric as before. I guess I was just exaggerating to tell people that Christianity and Scientology, while different, are both mind controlling and you should be cautious of such organizations. Too often we deride Scientology while not considering the harmful effects of more popular religions (it seems to be acceptable to make fun of Scientology but not other religions).

  • @SuperElm Btw ... they all pay a lot of money. Lower members pay much less because that's all they can afford.

  • @orion00

I know some Scientologists, they're not my friends, but they are friends of friends. They don't pay that much...they're whole life isn't taken over by Scientology...this is not way to defend Scientology it's just that the amount of manipulation has been way overstated by the media and blogs.

  • @SuperElm Christian churches may expect 10% of your money but it is not and never has been compulsory. They won't shun you or kick you out if you don't pay money. They won't encourage you to disconnect from your family members. They won't advise you to stay away from doctors, psychiatrists and pharmacists. They won't harass you when you speak out against them.

Don't start spouting off what scientology is and isn't when you obviously don't have a clue.

    See, xenu. net

  • @frankovich213

I corrected myself you silly goose. Both organized Christianity and Scientology are evil in some respects. Scientology is just more evil. However Scientology does not protest the funeral of veterans with signs saying "God hates Fags". Scientologists may be loony but they are MUCH more accepting people than the LCD of Christians.

  • @SuperElm I agree with you but you're talking about the Westboro Baptist Church who protest soldiers funerals with disgusting signs. That's a bit of a far stretch from the whole of Christianity especially when that church has been condemned by the larger Christian community.

Of course scientologists are more accepting people, they want your money. lol

  • @frankovich213

That is true, Scientologists are much greedier. However if you think the larger Christian community is innocent you are wrong. The Catholic Church in Argentina actually blamed tragedies on that fact that Argentina legalized gay marriage.

  • AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHH thats funny....ahahahahah i loved the george character...

  • @VoodooPolitico

No, you don't. He's so stupid.

  • @SuperElm ???

  • @VoodooPolitico

You don't actually love him. You're just pretending so you can be different.

  • @SuperElm shut up asshole...scientologist are ya?

  • @VoodooPolitico

You're a Christian I assume? You support the killing of Jews, Gays, and people who don't like being raped by their parents? I'm sure you do...Hitler.

  • @SuperElm I think you should read the Bible again and tell me where it is OK to kill gays, Jews, and people who don't like being raped by their parents.

Next time you type something down, think about it and wonder if you are actually right. If you were going o type it down, it's most likely wrong.

  • @hunthell

"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

If one curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out at the coming of darkness. (Proverbs 20:20 NAB)

    I think
