@Seymroth the phantoms are gun ships (or drop ships as some ppl call them) so how do you think the got the convernet on the ground ?? did they drop them from mid air now??

No, but the dropships are a completely different thing than phantoms. Dropships=Spirits, AKA the ships used in Halo 1. In halo 2 and onwards, they've used phantoms, which are a NEW model.

And the fall of reach was beFORE Halo 1, no?

I really donno, I am not a total halo pr0, but I remember reading that spirits were apparently made in large quantities, as they were still used after they were _REPLACED_ by the Phantoms. But, well, who knows, I really don't.

It's not like they just replaced the Spirits with Phantoms overnight. As with any military equipment, they're phased in gradually. Army Rangers were using the M203 grenade launcher years before the regular forces got it.

At what point do you see more than 16 people on screen?

About 0:42, on invasion. I can estimate about 15 players on screen at once, but then again, when have you ever seen a Halo match where there are more then 5 players in the same place?

Imagine getting lost in the large new Reach maps when all the 16 or more players are all cluttered somewhere else.

I'm guessing it'll be bumped up to 24. No large change of pacing, will probably feel pretty standard since even the multiplayer maps are scaled up x 4 this time around. Need to keep a balance y'know.

I feel your pain. I always get loads of schoolwork and tests when there is a cool game coming out. It's always a week with like 3-4 tests. I had that after I got ODST, and Modern Warfare 2. I looked at my school calendar, and yep, 3 tests in the week when the Reach beta comes out.
