  • Spiders - centipide

  • Spiders - Centipedes

  • AAAAAAAHHH!

  • these things kill spiders?! i used to kill these with a passion! next time i see one im letting it go!

  • WHY DID I WATCH THIS BEFORE GOING TO BED?!

  • people need to get over themselves......house centipedes are part of nature......unless they're scurrying around your close quarters......there's no good reason to arbitrarily kill em. They are beings, like us.

  • @AceofDlamonds Im glad you cherish the life of a brainless insect.

  • @USAshOOTER

    Nice strawman.

But more to the point, it is not an arbitrary being......unless you consider yourself the same.

  • OM NOM NOM

  • I'm disgusted. House Centipedes are my most hated insects. If I find one in my house, I literally cannot go to sleep until I know it's dead. And don't think about walking away for a moment to find something to kill it with. It'll disappear into the night at a blink of an eye. Yuck!

  • @Neno8403

Whenever I see one, I always kill it with a long stick. My mom told me to hit it with my hand and I said no way.

  • @yomamasofat1000 I literally saw a rather big house centipede just chillin' on my wall, the other day. The first one I've seen in a while. I feverishly searched for something to kill it with, until I found a bottle of RAID which was really for flying insects. I didn't care... poisin is poison! I sprayed the hell out of that vile creature and it dropped to the ground like a ton of bricks. My mind was finally at ease.

  • @Neno8403 do what i did and find the closest thing to throw on top of it. I used a bowl to catch it and keep it. then my dog attacked the bowl and i poured nail polish remover on it and then put the bowl back... I hope it's dead.

  • @Neno8403

They aren't even insects, smart one. And humans are the most disgusting animals on Earth, FYI

  • @AceofDlamonds "Centipedes are an arthropod, which is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton (external skeleton), a segmented body, and jointed appendages. Arthropods are members of the phylum 'Arthropoda,' and include INSECTS, arachnids, crustaceans, and others." Are we about done here, princess?? It must suck to be you... a lonely, miserable, and apparently ignorant, YouTube troll. You, your life, and your comment, are an EPIC FAIL. Dismissed.

  • @Neno8403

Centipedes are Chilopoda....just because insects are one group of arthropods doesn't mean every arthropod class can be called insects. Insects have six legs. Uneducated nutwad.

  • @AceofDlamonds Who cares?

  • @Neno8403 nah, it comes out at night and eats all the ROACHES in your house. you should be thankful of what they do for you

  • @Neno8403 NO, NO, NO, these things kill the BEDBUGS AND SPIDERS, AND FLEAS AND TICKS, AND PROBABLY THE CRABS OR LOBSTERS THAT BREED IN YOUR BED AT NIGHT

  • @Neno8403 These are good, dont kill them. I had them in my house for over 20 years and never been bitten. They keep bugs that will bite you out

  • @Tom26229 I'd love to know if you'd honestly feel the same way, if you were joltingly awoken out of a restful sleep by one of these crawling across your face in the middle of the night. That happened to me two years ago, and I'll never be the same, again. FYI, I've rarely ever been bitten by insects inside of my home, which is relatively insect free.

  • @Neno8403 lol that might change my mind. I had one crawl over my bare foot one night while at my computer desk, but thats the only time i ever came in contact with one. At first i was scared of them but have gotten used to them over the years. Theymostly stay in my basement so its not that bad, i see maybe 2 a year in my room. Plus they kill bed bugs, cock roaches, and spiders so its worth the risk.

  • @Neno8403 These guys aren't insects, they're myriapods.

  • This centipede is so different of the dark red ones that eats the cockroaches and slugs in my house

  • @pistonpkm if i lived with you id kill myself.

  • @Massas8967 Haha they're actually very useful lurking in the dark eating any small creature they can find without bothering us, they will always avoid contact with the people not to mention their beautiful shiny dark red exoeskeleton ^^

They're friendly, you two could become friends : 3

  • I hate the fact that they're so FAST! There was one at school and it just zoomed like a bullet around everyone and we were all like "KILL IT! JUST KILL IT!"

  • I just the a 64 oz. jug of steel rail at one of these freaky things. Im a pretty mellow guy but that thing running across my arm made me squeal like a girl lol

  • DANG ! Those are some Long Legs.... I've seen little centipedes in my yard but bot with legs like that

  • House centipedes are excellent for roach control. They are harmless to most humans although they do tend to run right at primates for some reason.

  • @ifartwell If your gf eats house centipedes, you need a new gf >.<

  • wtf ive never seen that thing in my life y is its legs as long as a spiders centipedes dont look like that

  • their known 4 eating spiders. they go in their web n eat them. sometimes they get stuck. lol and die

  • i have those in my house, but i haven't seen those boys in a while. i kill the zombies in my video game, she kills the house centipedes

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!

  • I live in the basement and just saw one and started screeming "HOLY FUCKIN SHIT CENTIPEDE CRICKET OMFG" idk but im scared to death of any centepedes

  • I fucking hate those things, they are in my basement all the time.

  • the top comment and reply is fucking hilarious!

  • I HATE seeing these things in my house, oh my goodness.. but I guess I'd rather see these than those super fat centipedes... these are easier to kill XD.

I think it's the legs that creep me out most about them... and how they can blend in with your wall and then suddenly they speed off

  • READ THIS! EVIL TERRORS! BEWARE! HOUSE CENTIPEDES ARE STEALTHY NIGHT HUNTERS AND COME UP TO HUMANS AND PETS AND THEY SENSE WHEN AN ANIMAL IS ASLEEP AND THEY PENETRATE OUR SKIN WITH A NUMBING AGENT AND THEN TAKE FLUIDS FROM OUR BODIES FOR SEVERAL MINUTES WITH PIERCING, NEEDLE-LIKE MANDIBLES! IT TOOK YEARS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT CAUSED THESE HORRIBLE, ITCHY RED MARKS ON MY BODY! BEWARE THE EVIL HOUSE CENTIPEDE! KILL EVERY ONE OF THEM IMMEDIATELY! TOTALLY SERIOUS. There, I feel better now.

  • @ifartwell Why does your girlfriend eat centipedes?

  • i started looking up these videos because i failed to kill one. im sleeping in another room

  • @KimboSliceHater they are not dangerous they cannot crawl the walls, so just be sure to sleep on high bed, don't sleep on the floor. I have tons of them right now in my room.

  • @doukkali125 bs they always crawl on walls in my house!

  • @ifartwell ahahahahahahaha

  • OMG I seen this at work the other night and freaked me right out!!!! it looked like a huge woad of hair !!!

  • Wait... this things eat spiders. I usually drop kick them with my boots on summer days, but I guess they are OK.

  • One time one of those house centipedes fell into a spider web behind my desk, and I'm pretty sure the spider ate it.

    Centipedes and spiders...arch enemies!

  • is this a poison cent ?

  • i rather have spiders than house centipede in my house !

  • THATS NOT a spider :) its a SLIVER FISH

  • I love all animals...but the house centipede is fucked up I kill these suckers everytime I see one. They're attracted to the spiders in my room which I hate cause I like the spiders, spiders are cool.

  • I need a couple for my ant problem... baits work, but new colonies move in.. the last centipede i had was found DEAD on my desk, I suspect someone may have killed him, ignorant of what good he was doing around my room... Yea these guys are great pest control. I think I'll try out buying some cellar spiders first, then after a month or two I'll get a couple centipedes.

  • Are house centipedes smaller than other species of centipedes? Are they harmless compared to other species?

  • @ifartwell What you said was gross!

  • I'm sorry everyone.

But that can fuck right off!

  • @ifartwell and Chuck Noris eats everyone!!

    :PPPP

  • nom nom nom

  • @ifartwell

    Ahh the circle of life.

  • Thatswayy Tite!,,,INever Saw anythingg Eat A Spider

  • My son calls the Fuzzy Bugs. I use to kill them with a passion, until my wife saw a brown recluse. The scutigera eat brown recluses and any other pests. When I see them know I leave them alone, sometimes you have to set a monster to catch a monster, call it an uneasy alliance. Their bite is much preferable to the bite of a brown recluse. When all your pests are gone, they disappear to.

  • Whoa what? No, we keep the spiders in the house. They handle the bugs when summer time comes...and they usually stick to the ceiling. If we don't bother them they don't bother us. I got my own lil spiderbro in my bedroom. 7 months and he still just goes about minding his own business and i haven't felt an itch yet. I hate centipedes..saw one while I was washing dishes and power jetted it with hot water coz it tried to sting my arm.

  • What kind of spider was he eating? Sounds like he's the "house guest" and keeps the other creepy-crawlies away. Hehe! :)

  • just like, let every 5th one u see live.

they're actually good for the house. These fuckers hunt everyone.

  • @Deekid311 u tell'em bro i hate wen ppl say dat der gud no der not

  • Well I know who's not going to sleep tonight. :/

  • @kerenar16 Me o.o

  • YUCK YUCK NO NO, I fucking hate them. I hate them. No.

  • I have TONS of those in my apartment, literally it's crawling with them, especially at night. I've been told they are harmless to humans and simply attack other insects.

  • @MrDecal514 Thats true. They're good and won't or probably can't hurt you.

  • @ZDWario yea right they fuckin bite

  • @joemoma90 Sure they bite and you'll get a little pinch. But its not going to hurt you with poison or anything like that.

  • @ZDWario i do not recall saying anything about poisin 0.o

  • I just found one in my house, are these dangerous in any way? I was terrified when I was it because it was crawling around on my arm... D:

  • @TheSmileyCupcakes

their bite hurts like hell and is mildly venomous

  • @cosmosman

But it can't harm you like make you very sick or something, right?

Because I would honestly be screaming and running around my house...

  • the only place i have ever seen a house centipede is inside schools. now i think thats strange that i cant find one of these outside or anywhere else but school

  • They're a bit scary/creepy at a normal distance. Up close, they're rather cute. Look at those eyes!

  • No!! They look worse than spiders! Thank god they arent in my country...jeeeeesus

If I get any kind of bug in my dorm room Ima call security to get it out lol, my dad or boyfriend won't be willing to travel about 200 mile to rid of it and I won't touch =P lol

  • @Twinnies91 these little f**kers are in north america, asia, and some parts of europe. do urself a favor: DONT GO TO ANY OF THOSE CONTINENTS OR IF YOURE LIVING ON ONE OF THEM, FLEE RIGHT AWAY..

  • @deekid311 I live in Europe :-o, but as far as I'm aware they're not in Britain? Has uses living on an island :) lol

  • @deekid311 You've seen that?! My gosh I feel bad for you now ;_; Do you know if they live in deserts? (probably...)

  • @soraroxas365 i dont think they live in deserts. they usually live outside under large rocks or in damp areas in your house

  • @deekid311 Thank gosh XD

  • I have them in my building, they come out at night when everyone is sleeping. I saw one here and there i just think to myself "get'em legs! kill any bugs that will break in!" They are like your own personal bug repellent.

    DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY!!!11

  • @MegaLolburger North America, Europe and Asia

  • @MegaLolburger Canada. United states. Northern states, southern provinces. Just saw one a second ago XD Mainly live in basements. Can't really survive outside very well, cold kills em quick.

  • @MegaLolburger I live in Chicago and I get these more commonly than spiders. I'm shit scared of them.

  • @airwalkcrazy360 You live in Chicago? Nice.

  • ill shit myself if i see that

  • i red about this bug and its not harmless to people

  • @mulong BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrMutherFocker its true mutherfocker but i already killed a bunch before i knew ahahaha! theyre helpful bug in your house

  • @mulong

    It is harmless.

Wiki it or google it. The only reason people kill these things is because they're fast and hairy looking and that makes them scary as fuck. Otherwise, though, they're basically natural exterminators. They go around killing other kinds of bugs.

  • @DbzmasterdbzNecrossR i know i did google it its harmless now i feel bad kililing them lol

  • one of these jumped right into the tub while I was showering one day

  • got one of those motherfuckers with a 30 lb dumbbell last week. it was the only thing handy. and DVD cases don't work worth shit.
