In Land of the Dead, and in 28 weeks later zombies could in fact interact with the water without issue. Swimming? I do not know, I do know that they can walk along the bottom.

Well, when you dealing with a zombie infestation usually you would want to find a good place to hold out the apolcolypse as long as you can.
The ocean is the perfect place to do just that.
Preferably, you would want a stocked up yacht.
However when you are dealing with zombies that have no problem with water?
then there just aren't a lot of places left. =p
