It's meant to be Richard Carleton, who sadly died while reporting on the mine collapse. I figured in the telemovie Channel Nine would rewrite it so he saved the miners singlehandedly (or with Eddie's help).

The scene with the reporters was gold. Should have put in the Foo Fighters ipod and sustegan. Nice closing scene.
