@TheEsperanza243: I rode this for the first time this past weekend in the dark (for the Halloween Haunt thing), and it's scary as bloody hell. I actually started to black out on the second hill, and the video can't replicate the twisting action of the track when you're actually on the ride.
first drop is pretty fast, but nothing is compared to that first corner. airtime is pretty sweet when going over the first airtime hill, it really pulls you off the seat
@ablougabla - I agree!! A mix of the best stuff between MF and Maverick I think... :) The first thing I thought about when riding Maverick last week was "twistyyyyy". lol
@xAmosX Its an opinion deal.....:P I have to say that I305 does look better but hey I haven't been on either Diamondback or this so I shouldn't have a huge opinion. LOL
@TheWeeklyVideoShow Dude have you ridden this?! You can't even compare it to DB, and DB is one of my favorites, There is no comparison between the 2. Unless you're thinking of Intimidator, and not 305, at Carowinds. Now those you can compare.
@iagomega - How can you compare the two Intimidators to each other? I305 is clearly not the same, and besides: Intimidator at Carowinds about 100ft shorter
Intimidator: Carowinds: B&M: 211ft drop at 74 degrees: 75mph
I305: Kings Dominion: Intamin: 300ft drop at 85 degrees: 79.5mph
I wasn't comparing those 2. I was saying he could compare DB to Intimidator at Carowinds as those 2 are both B&M's with similar stats. :) I'm WELL aware that inta-fail... i mean intamin and B&M's are no where near each other :P
After riding them both over 20 times each during the summer, I found I305 (I rode it during it's most heavily trimmed period, with the shoulder straps) more entertaining than Diamondback. The sustained positive G's, forceful transitions and overall intensity of I305 satisfied me more than the constant airtime of Diamondback.
@wutanoob again tho you really can not compare i-305 to either Diamond back nor Intimidator as Carowinds. Diamond back and Carowinds Intimidator you can compare all you want, as they're both B&M's with the same car/track style. But really comparing I305 to anything is not that possible... well maybe Maverick at Cedar Point you could possibly compare, but 2 different makers just doesn't work.
and I agree they are both great in their own little ways :)

one might prefer g-forces and swooping turns like I305, or one might prefer lots of airtime.....
thats the problem with rating and comparing coasters, some of it comes under opinion so i dont think there is any real subjective no. 1 coaster in the world.
