  • ehh.... I prefer the much cuter and a lot less see-through cherry shrimp...

  • you're gonna be eating some good seafood.

  • Might wanna improve living conditions

  • this quality is so awesome! Makes me hornY!!

  • They are also able to survive in a mature planted tank without additional feeding. It doesn't take anything to make it happen. Is this a ghost shrimp or some sort of macrobrachium though? Those front claws are pretty impressive.

  • How do you go about getting baby ghost shrimp, our female is full of eggs but i don't know how to get them to hatch, she had eggs once before but they just seemed to disappear.

  • @dogtigger93 Ghost Shrimp are difficult because their eggs hatch into a larval form of shrimp, meaning that unlike other shrimp like Cherry Shrimp for example, when the babies are born that they will go 5-7 as tiny larva. This makes them difficult to get past the larval stage as they cannot eat regular fish food, but it is not impossible. You need some sort of phytoplankton type food which is available at most pet stores. Something specially for "fish fry" should work.

  • Thank you!! I thought that's what my little ghostie was doing, but I wasn't sure--til now! :) --my ghost's babies are green?
