  • wait so is this originally in french? or english?

  • this style reminds me of 101 dalmatians, but with intense detail.

  • I cried. Just saw this on tv.

  • This film was wonderful! Even though the characters barely talked, I LOVED watching them develop through their actions and not words. Almost nothing was said through the entire thing, and that's what made it so great! The first half of the film was traveling and it felt so VERY refreshing to see hand-drawn animation. I cried at the end, it was funny in the beginning but depressing towards the end. At first I didn't think I'd even like it, but I ended up enjoying the film immensely!

    =)

  • I saw Derren Brown mention it on facebook; must be worth a watch.

  • The Triplets of Bellevile!

  • Thumbs up if Derren Brown brought you here

  • Oh god, who cut this trailer? It's painful to watch -- the animation is so visually complex that we need time for our eyes to adjust to each scene, but the rapid cuts make it impossible. What a disaster for what is clearly a beautiful film.

  • @gethsemeny

faster than the eye, that's magic!

  • @gethsemeny Really? I think the cuts are fine

  • Is this ever gonna be on itnues?

  • @jacks16390 Itunes*

  • Our animation teacher is taking us to see this tomorrow

  • Brilliant animation, extraordinary story line, i cant wait to see this on the big screen, its like bringing back the old days where magic was the most famous entertainment, unlike today... tv, video games, and God knows what else

  • Nice too see animation film that wasn't done by comptures

  • @RobotMice Have you seen "watership down" yet you might like it its beautifully painted and a really good film. I think im gonna watch this later it looks allright.

  • I read the synopsis and it sounds like the type of story I would enjoy. I too am planning to see it soon. I did see "The Triplets of Belleville" and I enjoyed that so I am expecting that this will be enjoyable as well. I like the style of animation, it's different, not necessarily "much better" than what Disney has done, just different.

  • It's obvious it's nice once I see the Professor Layton style of art.

  • @armyofshadows I hope you don't mean this copied Layton's style, since the Triplets of Belleville has the same exact style and was made well before Layton.

  • @ChrysLT Nope I meant that I totally love this style ^^

  • Looks brilliant!!! Hope I can have the chance to see it soon!

  • Can't wait to see this one, love the style of animation, much better than Disney has done post Lion King:)
