LOVE your dreadhawk!! I've had mine for two years now and I'm now ready for something new. Like the idea of a drullet. My sides are long enough for tiny twists now and yes it has been a pain growing them back (several attempts - each time getting fustrated and shaving the sides again - lol). Solution - lots of headwraps.
this is amazing and exactly what I have been looking for. Do you still have ur dreadhawk? How long were you locs when u got the cut? Oh and how do u style it normally. Sorry for all the questions I just really wanna do this and for it to look right haha
@mizune9 Thank you so much mizune9. Well I had my locs for about two years before I cut them and yes I still have my dreadhawk. I love it more and more each day. I took many new pics, I'll make another video soon. I've been rocking the same style for a while now because my locs are getting a little too long to wear it in other styles. I loved curling them though. Now I just pull my hair up and tie them. haha that wasn't too many questions. Thank you so much for watching. Keep me posted =).
@twinronda now if you wanted to grow the sides back would you start over or does your hair provide enough coverage for the sides so that wouldn't be necessary? I am considering a mohawk or drullet (dread mullet). the drullet's top would stay braided. I just want to be able to grow my hair back if I want lol
@mizune9 haha I think about that all the time. I'm thinking that my next step will be a short haircut because it would be somewhat annoying trying to wait for the sides to grow back to grow locs again. But I do LOVE my locs so I may just have to do get extension twist till the sides are long enough for braids...to turn into locs. I think a drullet would be wicked. Plz add a vid or pics
@twinronda last question lol. what method of curling did u use? I've had my locs a little over 2 years and they would be pretty long by the time I would do this. Thanks for the support I'll be sure to make a video
@IndulgeObscenity Ask away...Ask as many questions as you want......
I used the hard rod rollers. They are very old fashioned. They've been around for years n years. Right after I wash my hair, just roll em and go under a drier. I had to buy a dryer because I know the longer my hair gets the longer it'll take to air dry. (I'm not sure if I answered your question but I sure hope I did haha).
@twinronda As you can see not videos up dear lol
