What does King Henry have to do with the reformation? He was just an arrogant monarch who took advantage of the church for political gain and wealth.... kind of like the Pope.
I don't understand if you are trying to support a particular point of view or not, it seemed like you attacked, and misunderstood at some points, both sides.
@JordanRossMackenzie no there wasn't really a particular side to support it was just a general overview about reformation and yes about King Henry you see he may well have done all that for selfish gain but his actions at the end of the day still affected people of the public and many might have been influenced by his actions and maybe ignored the fact that what he was doing was perhaps for his own personal gain and not for the benefit of his people. The Reformation came about because the reformers, and many Christians before them, believed that the Pope, and that self prossessed Papacy, was the anti-Christ and a system contrary to Scripture. Christians started and brought about the Reformation, it had nothing to do with politics.
