people, please do not use tables like this to create websites! cascading style sheets were created for a reason, and they are much better when used with div tags. Tables are great to use though, but not for laying out the site structure, as the layout can vary between different visitors due to different screen resolutions. You would want to only restrict yourself to using them for displaying data that would be used in databases, also called 'tabular data'. :)

hahahahahahahaha, one of the worst templates I've seen. Tables, really? I mean, is it just me or is that one of the dullest websites you've seen? The font for the navbar? He's trying to make it look like a CMS, but that's just plain HTML, isn't it? LOL

@Badmotherz Its a starting platform for people who are new to the world of web design. I don't have a problem with what Ed includes in his tutorials but thats more than likely because I have a social life that doesn't involve coming on Youtube and writing critical comments about people's work. Get over yourself nobody cares if your the God of webdesign on here unless your offering tutorials and oh what a suprise, your not. So until we see some tutorials of yours, you dont have a leg to stand on.

I was hoping that the website layout wasn't built with a table. Why don't you use floating divs and whatnot?

@archange156 - There is no major advantage to floating DIVs with CSS style over a table layout. It's a matter of preference and for teaching beginners tables are an easier option. As a professional website designer I can use both and do very often use DIV for styling and layouts.
