No, this is not my pet. I made this video when I was visiting a woodcarver in a market in Iquitos, Peru. The man said that one day he found this sloth in his stand and decided to feed it. Ever time it came back he fed it, and eventually it stopped leaving.
Beautiful animals... close to extinction though...

What year was this video taken? I wonder if the sloth even survived? Usually they don't when people try to keep them as pets.
