  • Killer Joint. Heard it on the Chromeo Mix "Ce Soir On Danse", but it took me a moment to find out who the artist is.. Anyone know the name of the singer? I think I know his voice from a different band, but I can't remember exactly..

  • Sad to say that many of these great albums we liked... never to be sought, found, or worse, REISSUED!

  • Here is what real music inspiring celebration of love and optimism. Not like rap that generates depression and techno hysterical.

  • magnifique instru

la basse toujours au top pour ma part

    parfait ! ! !

  • Disco lights on the floor !

    Just Boogie on !

  • wicked tune! 80,s soul lives on!

  • It does by the loved song and it recalls those days !!

  • Cool.....

  • Come and get a synopsis of my fragile mindset by viewing my channel,

Roll up and see what Bigbollok1 has to go through almost every day with a twat like me on his jacks.

  • For sheer audaciousness i imagine BIGBOLLOK1 shaking my hand and saying the ultimate word....

I FORGIVE you RAINRAY for your immature vile acts upon me and will not

vent my intelligent indignant act unto you my sick son of a bitch.

  • For sheer creativity the 1980's is the only decade that can match up to the 1960's. Truly a Brilliant decade where all types of music and film where imagined and eventually created.

I love the 1980's. I still think that some of the early tunes that came out of the beginning of the early 1980's are some of the best music ever made. The bass line is so good on this track, & so is the use of synthesiser and keyboards. I love the vocalist as well on this track. He has a real nice voice on this.

  • I've got the twelve inch of this jammed right up my jacks and i'm loving every second of it!

  • Worth money that is bro!! and ....

    you lucky mutha!

  • yeah! this is a real italian / USA production . this record really rock!!! :)

  • Wow, DJ Mehdi didn't change these samples too much. Good song.

  • DJ Mehdi is beast, perfect use of sampling this song. This actual song aint so bad either haha

  • @entocheets This one is better in my opinion and I'm a huge DJ Mehdi fan.

  • who playin bass guys?

  • I have this on vinyl and cassette. Used to play it early in the morning in my car while going to work back in '83. ...over and over. Very strong lp. Three bass players are mentioned ...Tony Bridges, David Romani and Timmy Allen.

  • Great album cover ! Notice how The World Trade Center lights up the beautiful sky in New York City. 1982. Memories........

  • Like yesterday damn!

  • Big Bang - Pressure FOR REMAKE of THE SAMPLES, sounds really good

  • Oh snap!!! OMG!!

This takes me back. Way 2 funky.

I thought Change sang this cut.

  • Same producers, writers as Change. Thats why it sounds similar. Good ear !!

  • Funk with a capital F.

I will die happy knowing these songs now will survive in digital eternety.

Back in the days of my cassette tapes I wasn't so sure! ;)

  • Imagination has no ending

  • LEGENDS (TCOB 82}

  • Don't you remember...before the need to "represent"? Remember when there were "musicians"? Cruisin music! No lyrics about having to bust a cap off in somebody. No hoez or bytchez here! Wow!!!!this is possible? Real People singing and real music being played in real time. Guitarist Cheili Minucci was in the BBQ band when this was released. Oh...sorry Cheili is the guitarist from "Special EFX" ( a jazz-fushion) duo from the 80's too.

  • Amen Brother!

  • Funk you, funkentelectual to funkentelectual!

  • Another awesome track!

Brings back memories of the living room.

  • Dancing lessons are available Folks!

Roll up and learn how to mash it up in the clubs.HAHAHAHA.

  • BB & Q. What memories the older stuff brings back to me! Not that I don't like thier newer tunes, but I favor the older. Thanx!

    Peace Y'all!

  • been waiting ages for someone to upload this thanks alot dude, always reminds me of playing furfighetrs on dc started really getting into this kind of music at the time, good memories :)

  • R&B at it's best before it got diluted, where the hell did we go wrong musically?

  • 1 word: RAP! Not that it was bad from the word go, but nobody knew the beast it would become. No 2 reason, Gangsta Rap- NWA started the real downward spiral. You know the lowest common denomenator thing. Once $ got made it was over. So now, thanks to a generation of uncreative saps, the US music scene is now so booty and everything sounds the same- lame.

The EU is the new horizon. At least there you can still hear people sing. And new songs!

  • You know thats right! I heard an interview with Timmy Gatling one of the original members and founders of Guy and he said you can't get a record deal in this day and age unless the opening verse starts out with a rap lyric and he also went on to say at one time there were so many groups and individual artist out back in the day that you could not count them all,now you can then on one hand. Music died in all sectors after the millineum, rock, rap,r&b and country. Music is no longer an art form.

  • Ronpc, Even though I agree with you that music is no longer an art form, There ARE hundreds of groups and artists out nowadays. But the mainstream media won't let you know that most of them exist. I guess they feel that since we have the internet, we can find out about them ourselves.

  • Good share, veewee -- thanks! I searched YouTube for this a few months ago in vain. Like omodrac below, I too have searched YouTube for All Night Long, without success...

  • can you please upload All night long (she's got the moves I like) ? can't seem to find it anywhere.. thanks.

  • I've posted that song. enjoy!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! I have been looking for it for the last 20 years!

  • Doggie I have this cd and I love it ,Thank you.
