You have a good voice. This particular song would sound way better if you got the correct cord progression for the verse.  Since you are playing down in Em try this: Em-D-G-C-Em-D-C(maj7). The chous is correct. You can get a really good digital guitar tuner now for like $12.00-$15.00. I am only telling you this because you have a really good voice and a good sense of rhthym. You could go far.
