Other points...1) Pennsyvania is head and shoulders above everybody the best HS wrestling. 2) Iowa, with two squad team of fifth year seniors barely beat OSU's team of Frosh and sophs. 3) OSU was missing their undefeated 149 lb who is out for the year, wrestled two hurt guys, and the hokeyes "hurt" guys wouldn't have done any better at their weights than their replacements did...maybe they could have won at Hvwt, though OSU's guy has always beat their hurt hvwt.

Metcalf would have embarrassed anyone they put out there, we would all have laughed, and moved on to the next weight.

Pick your poison....if Brands stays at Iowa you get those four guys, Metcalf, Borschel, Slaton and LeClere. But then you wouldn't have any, or any but one of...Morningstall, Keddy, Beatty, Dennis and Ereckson. Some of those guys would have never been offered, and there wouldn't have been enough money left for the others for them to choose the Hokeyes with only 9.9 scholarships to be doled out between the entire team. And right out of HS none of them would have come totally on their own dime.

Beaty has kind of been a big disapointment Yah i know he can't stay healthy for shit. However the biggest let down for this season has been keddy my god for a 184 pounder the man has the most beautiful drop single coming off his head lock and never finishes I am was hoping for him to place in the top 2 and now am worried that he may not finish in the top 4. now that I think about it you are right about morning* hope they can get it together at seasons end ! !

Oklahoma State has double digit more championships than Iowa, including a four peat just a couple years ago. Iowa is on a nice three year run with stolen recruits from Va. Tech...hence their new name "The Hokeyes". Reality sinks in next year when their stolen wrestlers are gone...and two of them are their best two wrestlers this year, plus another made the finals previously. Meanwhile Ok State is loaded again through legitimate means.

No, I'm from Indiana. I didn't know Oklahoma State had more titles. I just know the tradition of Iowa and how successful they have been for so long. I love this sport, I think it is the greatest!!!! I'm still learning about the rules and regulations of the sport of wrestling, I just love it!!!!!

My son is in 7th grade, last year was his first year wrestling, he went 14-3 overall, was county champ, and went 4-1 in a 12 school invite, The coach said he has a natural gift and talent in wrestling. I'm so proud of him, we're getting ready for practice in about 4 weeks for this year, I cannot wait, this video is very motivating, and all of the Iowa videos are motivating to be honest, they show what a true champion is all about by their long history of being the best!!!
