Hi guys,i have one story.Well 16.11.2011. my doctor says to me Stipe you have only 4 to 8 weeks to live because i had a cancer.So i was thinking and a told myself .. i must do what i allways want .. and than i sit on a plane from Croatia to London,UK and i came to MK and told him my story and pleased him would he go whit my on beer.When i returned home and went to diferent doctor he told me that my cancer is gone.Thank you Mark :)

Second is that dire straits plays it way better.
Third it should be ilegal to say that when a artist plays a nother artists song as a tribute to that artist to say that the cover is better than the original.

The simple yet ingenious lyrics, the guitar solos, the fact that its story has nothing to do with the real romeo and juliet makes it one of the most incredible songs ever written, regardless of who sings it.. I personally prefer this version probably because this is a typical dire straits song with kick-ass guitar, with true and honest lyrics, capable of conveying deep and gruff emotions..

When they sing "hey love your boyfriend's back" I like the way Brandon does it because he does it will a bit of a chuckle which I think really fits the lyric, however, I think Brandon's voice was a little too rough for this song, although he did still give a very heartfelt performance, it's just that this version is more soothing and easier to listen to while the Killers was slightly more intense.

I truly think I can appreciate that Alchemy Live as much as a Bach's Magnificat or Chopin's Ballades... it's to say how much I love it. Take a look at those Magnificat and Ballades... those classical pieces rock, as Knopfler's Alchemy do. (Hope my english is correct). From Bordeaux, France.
