  • NJ Transit had Eagle AE-20 they were custom built it was my favorite bus...

  • SWEET JESUS!

  • omg i luved these buses they look so nice with the eye brows at the top lol

  • Man I wish I was born in the 70's, that way I could have enjoyed riding the Greyhound Eagles with 6V92, 8V71, and 8V92 engines. I love buses straight from the old school way better than the newer ones that are out today. Excellent recording!

  • My Friend If you thought you would enjoy riding the Greyhound Eagles. Than you would've love Trailways Eagles Because At That Time They "Were" Brand Spanking New Straight Out From The "Trailways Eagle Factory" which were Bought out by Greyhound so accually Trailways had them "Very First".

  • i remember when I worked at Greyhound from 1995-1999....I had the pleasure of driving the MCI's and Eagles that Greyhound ran at the time. My favorite Eagle coach is the Eagle Model 10. The Eagle 15 was a very great bus. A good amount of the drivers loved them. I liked the way the gas pedal was easy to press down like on the MC-12's....electronic DDEC!!!!

  • Eagle Could've Been A Very Successful Bus Company If It Had The "Right Managers" Who "Know's" The In's & Out's About The Bus Industry. Smooth Riding Too. It's Like You're Driging A Great Big Cadillac That Seats 53. LOL!

  • It seems like all the best made buses go out of business and the continued broken-down buses that always need repairs stay in business. Why is that? God I Miss Those Hard Working Eagles. To Me They Were The Best Buses Built Only Second To MCI's D-Series. It's A Damn Shame Too.

  • Back in 2005, I saw one of the Eagle bus at downtown and it was 6V92TA powered but about a year later, I saw another one just like the first one, but in different color, and it had the powerful 8V92TA engine in it! Anyway, great recording!

  • Thanks

  • Damn!!!I never knew Greyhound never had Eagles in their fleet!!! Great catch!

  • Yeah they used to be Trailways buses.

  • That's cool!!! Thanks for the info!

  • not all of them used to be Trailways Eagles. Greyhound actually ordered a few Eagles themselves before taking Trailways lot.

  • Oh ok cool!!! I wish i was able to ride one. I heard the Eagles were bad ass!!!

  • hell yea they were bad ass! I got to ride some from Montgomery, Alabama to Cincinnati, Ohio. They had very good take off and from the outside, they sounded like fire trucks. Rode smooth....had comfortable seating. I miss them!

  • Really? Damn I missed out!!!

  • The Eagles were the loudest buses I ever rode and seen. That's how is real bus supposed to sound.

  • you should hear those ole Eagle 05s and 10s wit 8V71s and 8V92s as power. They sound jus like mid 80s fire trucks.

  • Nice

  • @metroktransit Ever?! Gadzooks! I wish I could have ridden them, especially 6v92TA or 8v92TA powered.

  • @MAR1NAB5180 A bit more specifically, they used to be Continental Trailways buses. Trailways still exists today, as it did then, an association of independent owners. :-)

  • @MAR1NAB5180 I've driven #0785 when I use to work for Greyhound that bus had some get up and go smooth ride wish it was still around I would love to see it agian.

  • Oh my goodness! This is unbelievable! You have outdone yourself again!!! Truly remarkable clip! I never thought anyone would get audio from any of the Eagles. We are not worthy!!!

  • Oh no im sure its just a matter of time before somebody post a video of an Eagle bus.

  • @slimlover2001 Love the Eagles, ive driven all of them except the eagle

  • Nice.

  • Thanks.
