It's a hobby, A way to test yourself and the machine you brought to the party. Most folks build their own rigs and the best way to test what they built is to take the machine to the most extreme offroad conditions you can find and drive through it. The machine is only part of the equation though. The driver has to have the skill and good judgement to overcome the obstacles. This guy had a good rig, he just chose a poor line and gave it to much gas. Oops. Well, if it was easy anyone could do it.
it doesn't look like it snapped but it might have sometimes if you cant get another rig down close enough to the one thats stuck you have people hold the strap so it doesn't flip the vehicle. a very stupid idea. and it looks like thats what happened and they let go

Speaking from experience you attach a tow strap to the top of the roll bar and winch from the opposite direction. This will roll the jeep back over in bottom of the hole. Then once you get the vehicle started again you can back out of the hole.

Drivers fault, gunned it then let off the gas allowing himself to roll back. Ive went through that one twice in a row. We used a strap and almost flipped but the people pulled us back down, not once did we let off the gas.

Drivers fault, gunned it then let off the gas allowing himself to roll back. Ive went through that one twice in a row. We used a strap and almost flipped but the people pulled us back down, not once did we let off the gas.
