I wonder what it takes to be an airforce pilot. is it as dangerous as bieng an infantry or not?

@sniper11235 Definitely not as dangerous as infantry. But it does has it's risks like mechanical failures, exploding in mid-air, and SAM's. Not too bad right now since we're fighting the Taliban which is mostly just roadside bombs. I guess it just depends on which force we're fighting.

awsome video and awsome music. they both tied to gether vary nicely. i am HUGE fighter pilot enthusiest. i know i probably spelled that word wrong. i wish i could do what thease guys do for a living. but i have to wear glasses to live every day. i give any fighter pilot mad respect, even more respect if he/she flies the falcon. i love that plane so much, if i could i would fly it were they wanted me to.

AAAhhh!!! I hate this video. It by no means "enhances" the spirit of the beautiful song. "High Flight" has NOTHING to do with fighter pilots in modern warfare. This is a tribute to the BeeGee and the SR-71 Blackbird. Marvels of their respective times (still to me today). The Blackbird is science gone so amazingly right that it became art. I occasionally listen to this recording, but I have to pull up a picture of the SR-71 (an UNARMED plane) to deal with it. Great song. Inappropriate video.

Sir, thank you for your insight. The video was not meant to enhance the song, but was used to enhance the live performance along with the other mvmts. and other service songs during a military tribute by the 36th Army Band on 4 July, 2007. Being that it was difficult to find SR-71 footage, I decided to focus more on the excitement of the music itself and use the loads of modern warfare footage. That being said, the SR-71 appears in the background of the High Def version that was used. Thanks
