ESP's are way better than LTD's. Such a massive difference in build quality. That said, my DV8-RSE plays amazingly. Then again, it is a special edition, so was probably made in a custom shop.

i personally use an ESP/LTD KH-202, i got rid of the "fake" emg and put 81 in em, and it sounds awsome, but i would recommend getting the esp cuz the ltd are mostly bolt on necks and that sucks

i have an ltd EC-50, modified it, and saved hundreds of dollars. meaning i put the EMG-81's, Sperzel Locking tuners, earvana compensated nuts, etc, which made me happy, compare to the $1000 version of it.
