  • Superb with the leather strap

  • The first and Only

  • song anyone ?

  • Is that an Omega strap?

  • nice watch for sure!

    though I preffer iwc...

    ;)

  • Britling source Is a little fag, just like michael J fox,

  • thank you

  • nice video!

  • Some people just have too much money. I'll stick with my Citizen eco drive ; )

  • sorry but this doesnt impress me by looks standards and wont get anyone saying hey what ya go there for a watch, sorry it just wont, just a nice plain watch though

  • it looks so 60's.. i LOVE it!!!!

  • great watch but the leather strap looks crap

  • i do not like the fact that this is a manual watch, rather than self winding watch. this means you have to manually wind it on a daily basis to keep it running. that sucks

  • @loosenet10 I thought so too, until I bought one. I really enjoy winding it every morning.

  • @loosenet10 it becomes part of you when you have to wind it.

  • i'm getting the 40th Anniversary Moon Watch... but i love the leather strap... do u suggest if i change it to leather??

  • @dakaraabbccdd yeah i like the leather also but just remember to not damage the case or the strap. personally I would get the one that has leather but it has a different clasp on it.

  • Ive got one of the 50th anniversary coaxial Speedmasters limited to only 1,957 in the known universe.

The chances of going to any party or function and seeing somebody else wearing the same model Speedmaster is very unlikely.

The majority of these watches according to the dealership i bought it from were first made available to chosen collectors known to Omega and only around 800 were released to certain jewellers who had surpassed their Omega sales targets.

  • ?Cual es el nombre de esta musica y compositor?

  • Yo tambien quiero saber esto. Aver si Javier se acuerda.

  • Beautiful watch. What is equally beautiful is this sonata. Someone please provide the name and author of the song played in this video.

  • @usageee its about watches not music

  • @xNoobFromHell

    Excellent suggestion, Sir!

Maybe you should email the author of this video as well and have him remove the music track since it's "solely" about the timepiece and nothing else.

While you're at it, point out to him that he should also remove the oak desk in the background as well. We wouldn't want any other viewers inadvertently envying any other aspect of this video if at all possible.

  • Javier, que musica es esta? Me encanta el reloj pero me gusta aun mas la musica! Que musica es?

  • Tratare de buscartelo, ahora no me acuerdo del autor

  • @javierleon911 Javier, aver si te acuerdas... :-)

  • Hast Du auch schon mit ihr geschlafen?

  • i agreed i had a seamaster and after a years it would not change date and the case and band is not a good guality steel. i own a rolex gmt master 2 for about 4 years now and never had a problem also the 904l steel is really good. after 4 years the watch still looks new.

  • whats the song in this video?

heard something similar, if not the same song in a production of "bent"

  • This is the first review I've seen given by a piano. I think the piano likes it, kind of, but it's hard to tell.

  • lol

  • @pete5668 nice , it wanted to buy one for les dawson

  • I can't believe anyone would think for a minute that there's a better watch than a '60's Hamilton self winder, just one of the ordinary slimline styles--a perfect watch. Wouldn't consider spending unnecessary money trying to top it. And you might even say it takes a licking and keeps on ticking, but that's the wrong company slogan. Still true though.

  • The newest Speedy has a 1861 caliber (3570/3573) - the last gen. was a 861 caliber - and the one that went to the moon was a 321 caliber.

Try Google for Chuck Maddox and you will find tons of info on this great watch!

  • But that one has the newest 861 movment. Oh for a caliber 321 c. 1966.

  • Don`t be fooled by pretentiousness...

  • If you were you'd buy a rolex...

  • Rolx GMT Master over a Speedy Pro? Rolex is a lottery-winner's, noveau-riche's, "Hey, look I've got money!'s choice... Just about everybody's got one.. Omega is a much better choice

  • Well I've had one for 20 years and its never kept good time and I have spent a fortune getting it serviced. My Rolex GMT Master is ten times this watch, Dont be foled by emotion.

  • Agreed - while Speedy Pro is a histoircal icon, it cannot match the Rolex GMT on accuracy and durability. The plastic crystal and the handwind movement are part fo the legend so I won't compare them with GMT's sapphire cystal and auto movement. The Speedy Pro lacks a true hacking function and it requries some patience and skills to master the synchronization of the second hand dial at the 9 o'clock position. To me it is a drawback as it is supposed to be a pilot's/astronaut's watch

  • The only think about the Rolex is that everybody seems to have one! Last week I went all dressed up with my GMT II to a party and three out of four valets got Rolexes! Gee...

  • could anyone tell me a good price to pay for one?

  • new, in Portugal, around 2600€

  • Iconic watch.

  • unbelievable watch, brings tears to your eyes. i'm seriously considering getting one. nasa can't be wrong: truly an everlasting masterpiece of design and engineering.

  • just bought the speedy 3573.50. couldn't say no to the skeleton back/ ss bracelet. almost got the planet ocean/ to big and looks like a rolex. i wanted an omega not a rolex.

  • I have one, they are the best: durable, elegant and great value for something that will work perfectly for decades.

  • Yeah, I too get a little stiffy just looking at this lovely watch

  • nice vid, man : )

  • Nice video with nice music. Thanks!

  • wow .,.this is truly a beautiful watch ..,.,.i have a bone lol

  • so the crystal is not saphire?wow im not saying thats bad.,.but i wouldnt want a scratch on my watch here on earth

  • i heard that they aren't automatic watches, you have to wind them up manually..is this correct??

if you aren't planning a trip into space it's not very practical is it..I'd prefer an automatic.

  • automatics dont work in space, its gravity that winds the watch and there aint to much of that in space! that said most automatics can be wound manual as well so it does seem a bit odd, the later ones are autos anyhow!

  • Autos DO work in space if worn, its not gravity that winds them but enertia...back to school for you laddy.

  • Agree

  • Yep, that's correct

  • @cooch555 your automatic wouldn't wind very well without gravity.

  • Amazing!

  • what a beauty

  • best watch ever

  • This is a very nice watch with a lot of history behind it. For the folks who complain about scratches on the crystal: The material was chosen for a specific purpose. Unlike sapphire crystal that shutters in small pieces upon impact hesalite crystal scratches and cracks. When you're in a space shuttle you don't want to have small pieces flying around. That's why the original moon watch has hesalite. Ditto for 30m depth rating. You want air to go in and out easily without popping the crystal.

  • I have one, Omega Speedmaster (not professional) 1967 I think, leather strap, beautiful design, restrained and elegant by modern standards. Its true the face scratches easily, it is not crystal glass but plastic of some kind, but easily polishes out. I love it.

  • I have a Speedy and it's true, it's a durable watch. A friend of mine asked to borrow it one time to attend a dressy party at some highrise penthouse. Long story short, his girlfriend messed around with some other dude while there, so he jumped off the balcony, falling 60 floors to his death. My watch? Returned to me in perfect working order. It was kind of a bitter-sweet day for me, I guess you could say.

  • True Story?

  • Again without a doubt...the best(and most beautiful) watch ever made!!!!!(design) and quality (simplicity)...

  • I agree that omega speedy is a nice "day at work"-watch, but it is in a completely different league than any patek, vacheron constantin or audemars.

  • or any patek or audemars. the speedy is a nice "day ay work"-watch, but in a copletely different league than any of those branches

  • i own 3 of theese!!!the most amazing watch ever build from omega!!!

  • wow

    which ones?

i want one of these in leather strap and a seamaster PO!!

    damn theyre nice

  • The watch is excellent.....but the problem is that Omega timepieces at large get scratched easily (both the sphere and the bracelet). Be careful when wearing sleeveless shirts...this watch is not suitable for everyday use

  • It's entirely suitble for everyday use. I use mine almost every day.

I once scraped an Omega sapphire crystal on a rough concrete wall and didn't get a scratch on it. I have non-Omegas too so I know the damage that should have been caused.

  • fucking classy.

  • ohh yess. after a year of hard work i have bought myself this wonderful piece of a watch. i have reduced speedmaster with leather wristband just as this one here and i like to wear it every day.

  • Great watch and once again very nice music in the background.

As far as the watch is conserned - watch out for scratches on this beautiful, domed glass;)

  • Yo tengo un Speedmaster muy parecido al del video, pero con el bisel en oro, la caratula blanca y la correa de piel cafe.

Lo compre en San Antonio, Tex. hace como 20 años.

    No he visto otro igual.

  • very nice!
