  • yep..thats Q139...CSX2665 has some videos with a train like this one..that mixed freight was picked up from acca yard in richmond..while the train itself just origined at Portsmouth VA ..great video by the way

  • @csx7509 Thank you sir!

  • Good video, I've caught this train myself several time lately with the mixed freight. Makes it worth catching now.

  • I caught a Q139 with freight behind it.

  • yeah, Q139 now carries the abolished Q414's traffic from Acca to Cumberland

  • When did they make the change? It was just back at the beginning of November when I last saw it handled by a single AC6000.

  • it's been in the past couple of months with the recession getting worse

  • That's what I suspected it was; I had read about CSX looking for ways to consolidate trains. Kinda harkens back to the era when you could still see piggyback mixed in with general freight like that.

  • @FastFlyingVirginian you're talking about conrail mixed freighters...the SEAL,ALSE were one of the many trains that carried piggyback in between the freight

  • they're playing a game with you, its called "Screw With the Old Dude" lol

  • OLD dude? Relative to you, maybe...but I still got a ways to go before I join the AARP crowd. Actually now that I think about it, Lawrence Welk COULD bring the funk...

  • Nah you arent old to me, but thats not what the CSX units are thinking... Lol!

  • an a onea an a towa, where are the bubbles!
