Too many people jump on Bell for his voice. He's not Maynard James Keenan, but he had a very good singing voice. The issue is, he lost it as he screams with his throat, which he actually told me back stage at the TLA in Philly when they played with Mastodon and Walls of Jericho about 9 years ago. Not everyone uses vibrato. I sang and have a very, very similar voice to Scott Weiland and use none. Keenan uses none and is the best rock singer around, period. Burton can't sing anymore, but he could.
