  • Dude!

WTF are you bored or something. U got to be kidding me man!

  • =dig a hole and put it in there then cover it and dig it back up =)

  • I would have preferred if you used concrete rather than snow, becuase snow does tend to be soft these days, who would have figured!

  • wow that took a hard fall..

  • but what about the gap around the trackball

  • ok its a fuckin phone case jeez

  • uglyyyyyy caseeee crystal case is the best

  • hmm the crystal case doesn't provide half the protection the otterbox does

  • check out the pelican micro case. if you are going camping etc the micro case is full waterproof, crush proof etc.

  • oooh snow. throw it on the ground man!

  • Sad to say that the only real "worth it" in the Otterbox line is for the non-trackball 8xxx series that uses the scroll wheel. THAT box can be submerged and used under water, we actually have the Otterbox store here in Colorado and a BB sits in a tank of water and can still be pulled out and used :) This line actually leaves the keys and trackball exposed and only helps keep the screen and body scratch free... something a $10 Speck case can do.

  • Does the clear plastic cover help any against water resistance? I have a Curve and was wondering if I should invest in the Defender case.

  • No protection like that for our Curves. The problem is the trackball. While it will keep it fairly safe from impacts, no water protection. I use a freezer bag when at the pool just in case lol. Looks funny, but saved my Curve and Ipod twice :)

  • lol

    nicely lodged

  • i think my phone even without teh case would survive

  • yea kinda of weak test but still a pretty nice case

  • that test didn't really do shit, you shoud bury them undr the snow for at least a couple minutes bufore taking them out.

  • shouldd have driven the car over it, than see if it works

  • Eh, it's been done. Nothing out there really tests the OtterBox's water resistance, and I figured this was the best way to do that without frying the thing.

  • flush it
