  • I recently made this for my brother and cousins and they literally licked the karahi pot. Yesterday my brother and cousin made it themselves and told me how amazing it had turned out. Thanks a lot. you are brilliant!!

  • Great :) Most of the time simple cooking tastes better. cooking is not hard we ourselves mostly make it complicated, and end up in a disaster.

  • Aoa. bajias. I am a very big fan of your cooking. I really like your simple and easy style of cooking. I have tried few of them at home and they turned out really good.My husband liked them very much.JazakAllah.

  • great! thanks good luck cooking

  • For how long is the chicken marinade to be kept before cooking ?

  • for best results over night. but 1 1/2 hr is fine, or can be made immidiatly. good luck

  • Do you 'hang' the yogurt to take some water content out before preparing the marinate? I tried making this, but it turns out a little soupy... And i used little yogurt, not much... Please advice.

  • No, its straight from container! in Australia yogurt is usually thick. Use less, cover the pot less, cook on high heat.

  • @Bajiascooking : Oh! The yogurt we get here in Canada obviously has more water content then, I tried putting really less quantity in the marinate, but I guess i need to use the creamier variety of yogurt. Will check if we get Australian style stuff here. Thanks! And yes, soupy or dry, it tasted AMAZING. was finished in no time. :) Even the smell which fills the kitchen when the marinate touches the hot oil in the wok... its simply divine! Your recipes are simply the best!

  • @AjinkyaKhare09 Depending on where you are in the world try using greek style yogurt this is a thicker set yogurt

  • @tazfaa6 Thanks! Will try that out... I have seen Greek Style Yogurt in available in stores here in Toronto.

  • very many thanks, you understand cooking..........

  • thanks :) i only know little bit about basics not much!

  • salam bajia i made this today but didnt turn out as good as yours, when i put my chicken in the wok masala didnt stick with the chicken y???

  • You may have used too much oil, that stops the masala from sticking. Another reason for it may have been because you didnt bhoon the masala enough, the masala should be water free when you add the chicken, when all the masala is dry then add the chicken, then it will stick. Good luck :) And let me know how you went

  • another reason could be the amount of water retained in the chicken. unfortunately in the US, after slaughtering an animal, it's meat is frequently treated with the chemical carrageenan which helps to retain all bodily fluids in the animal. When this meat is cooked, all that water gets released and it's next to impossible to fry the meat with all that fluid. I had the same problem when i accidentally bought generic meat, but did not have this problem when i bought meat free of the chemical.

  • This is to die for. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMY. I am so glad i made this.

  • This is really very nice and easy :) thanks for liking

  • O God :)

  • please "shola" banana sikha den....

  • Naheen aata sorry!

  • @PEACEFORALL91

Shola is very simple, soak 2 cup rice and almost 2 cups mix dals ( any dall except dal e mash) in water over the night. take 1 kg of boneless beaf, and cook normally with onions, tomatos, and use all the haleem spices. one beaf is haf cook put atleast 6 cups of water to it. now crush the soaked misture od rice and daal with hands and put it in the meat solution. cook it on medium heat for almost an hour. Now take out half of the solution and grind it in a juicer

  • @alexenderali thnx for the recipe

  • @PEACEFORALL91

now put it back to the rest of un grinded mixturer and mix it well. At this position you might need to put some more water. Cook it for another hour at low heat and stir it well thoroghly.

At the end u can give it a bagar of onions and whole dried chilles..

  • Bajjia jee is it possible kay hum issko overnight marinate kar kay next day fry karain??

  • wow baji that looks sooo goodddd :P~

  • Thanks! Good luck making it.

  • @Bajiascooking thank =) im not a big fan of chicken only because our chicken bleeds soo much and the whole dish turns black and tasteless....i hear that halal chicken shouldnt do that, but we always get halal it still does that.....is there something fishy going on baji? :-/

  • Frozen ka yehe to chakker hai. Always get fresh chicken and make it straightaway. Small chicken is the best.

In Australia 99.9% slaughtered. For taste you have to look around.

  • hmm looks delicious. In Punjab + sarhad, I always saw the whole rotisserie type chicken or fried chicken called Chargha. Everyday something new comes along.

  • True!
