why are they talking russian is because, tajikistan and uzbekistan have been under russian controll in many years and they had to learn russian at schools. so were many other countries.
it is really beautiful. but what I really do not understand is: why Tajiks and Uzbeks are so much Russian-oriented? they always speak Russian, and they never fight for their national pride. I am from Georgia by myself, and I know that these people were the easiest to manage for the soviet regime. even today they mostly speak Russian. why?
If tajik. would be a more open country, tourism itself would make it rich. Have considered myself visiting it, but as there is still conflicts and a hate against vest europeans, that seems less likely.
