  • Thanks dear *tripmonko*, for sending this video. I was surprised to watch this ghazal. Then, now i read the comment of chamogaa (Better Analyst) and i agree to his opinion.Probably, the dancer is shown innocent, with less knowledge to select this ghazal. And in my view, in those days, the Singing Dancers helped the poetry of great poets to spread the same into the masses. but my agreement is with chamogaa (vipan bhai- a learned personality) Thanks once agian dear *tripmonko* Khalid Asghar.

  • You're most welcome

    Aur Bahut shukriya!

  • Thanks for your respect, for my analysis. acknowledgement is a great virtue. Khalid Asghar.

  • Very accomplished dancer and the singer has a great , energetic voice too. I have mixed feelings here. I love both the vocal and dance performances in this clip, but at the same time feel as if there's some incongruity between a pathos-filled ghazal and a kathak dance with its thrilling rhythm. Such ghazals and mujras seem more in mutual accord when the performer is sitting as in the two glorious ones picturized on Nargis in the film Adaalat. Thanks for the post.

  • Very good poinit about dance not being always acceptable with all songs!
