Which of the 4 video settings do you use? Do you leave it to "program ae" or do you use a very precise setting under certain circumstances?

Available recording time for Panasonic FZ35/38 for motion in AVCHD Lite.
For 1 GB card:
low quality: 7 minutes
medium quality: 4 minutes
high quality: 3 minutes
For a 8 GB card:
1 hour 54s; 1 hour 20 s; 1 hour

OK for a 'timelapse'. Here what i do with the FZ35/38:
Put the cam on a tripod.
Choose your scene. Examples: clouds.
And you shot in film mode (AVCHD Lite) for about 20 minutes without stopping.
After you download from your camera to your PC the MT2S file of the 20 minutes clouds scenes.
With a video program editor, you accelerate your clip by X20 or X30.
I use as video program editor:
Magix Movie Pro 15 and Sony Vegas Studio Platinum 9.
These editors are under 100 dollars. Hope i help!
