i threw my controller at my t.v. when michael john was eliminated. i think maybe america thought that there would be no elimination like there was last year during idol gives back.

i absolutly think it's going to be a david vs. david finale. even though i don't wnt her to go i think syesh's time is up because she hasn't really connected with america. i don't know bout jason or brooke. all the gilrs seem to love jason nd he is a good singer but he is the weakest out of the 5 left. i love david cook and i want him to win. i loved how he did "always be my baby."

David Castro has a large fan base and Brooke does as well, it's what kept them there last week over Carly. Seyesha and Carly have been in the bottom 2 so many times, so yes she could vetr well be next unless she sparks some chage in the shows fan base this week.

She's been in the bottom 2 more times than anyone I can think of on IDOL this year.

I don't like "Always Be My Baby"..it just doesn't come off as a rock song to me..I kind of see real rock as being full of angst and heartache. I couldn't see the Stone Temple Pilots doing a cover of this. That's kind of who David reminded me of here...but IMO he needs more conviction...I don't feel it.

Being fair he had to choose a Mariah Carey song, and made it a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the singers trying to mimick her version, he stood out solid. IMO it was concining and it showed is he is well rounded Shellsy, like a rock singer telling the love of his life he'll always be there for her.

You're right. I really loved how David Archuleta hit that 'girl' high note, but I'm all for David Cook! I love how David Cook can bring the softness and rock to a song. And how he just has such a gentle personality.

Now for Brooke. I, honestly, thought she got lost. She seemed to get off tempo. But she did the right song choice. She has a very honest voice, like David Cook and David Archuleta.

I agree that Arc's good (and cute too) but now, he sounds really monotone. He's top performance: Imagine and I doubt that he can top that performance. Cook is different. He's a real musician and he can create his own music. Maybe Arch needs some time to mature. Brooke is my favourite girl at first but now... I don't like her "Hero" and "You Must Love Me".... Ugh... I don't know. Ow... I think Arch can win this competition though. He has lots of tween fans :)

You never know with IDOL, last year everyone though it was going to be a MELINDA and LAKSIHA finale and years ago people thought Clay Aiken was a shoe in... then towards the last 3rd of the compeition Ruben (S.2) stepped forward and Jordin (last season) and changed the landscape :) I think Brooke can do it, there's magic there that I saw from the start. I fully agree with you about David Archuleta, monotone yet to be fair cheery - but might not be enough to win over the 18-49 crowd!

Yes I just uploaded one a while ago, sorry for the delay but youtube can be slow sometimes. Of course I included Cook, he's the best of them all. I don't have a problem with David A, it's just I have always found him to be a very goos singer but not much of a performer - sometimes he sings monotone.

Yes I felt the same way ! If Brooke goes home well it's due to the jitters getting the best of her, casue she's just magical. Castro is ok and had 2 good weeks but never I've never really been a fan of his (probrbaly the drealocks) kidding, he's not the kind of performer or singer I like to watch or listen to, he had two good weeks but not a real fan.

I agree with your top three picks, though not necessarily in that order. Cook is a genius when it comes to his arrangements. Brooke really identified with her choice of music and made it something special. Archie's got such a powerful voice. Their music really tugged at the heartstrings, and that's why I enjoyed them so much more. There's not really a standalone best yet, and perhaps there won't even be one through to the finale. That's what I'm hoping for.

I can't say Brooke is number 2, this week was a bit rough for her. I think Syesha will surprise everyone and possibly make it to top 3 with the Davids. David C has my vote from day one. Such a true talent and very passionate with every performance!

I am surprised Syesha is still in this, she's been in the bottom three more times than Katherine McPhee was (and that says alot sadly) but she has managed to survive every week. Keeping in mind Kat McPhee was a runner up that year - anything can happen :) I can see her possibly taking 3rd. Syesha has a great voice but there's something "missing" and I believe it's that magic Brooke has, will be interesting to see how it finishes next month ! Thanks for the great comment.

Hi Mikenge, many people have been saying that about Brooke. She did great with LET IT BE, LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD & YOUR SO VAIN, I honestly have enjoyed her performances ever since even though the three above were A+.

As for Jastro, never really been a fan. I admit he has talent but he neevr stood out for me. Though I did like his version Travellin' Through during Dolly week.

David Cook has been my fave from the start, I have loved all of his performances even his audditions! :> I really like Brooke to, I think the 2 David's will be the top 2, and Carly will make it to the top 3. For me David Cook was the best. I'm not an American Idol an but my friend called and told me to watch so I did and I cried. Always Be My Baby hold a dear place in my heart my boyfriend who passed away told me that this song was our song so when I heard david cook sing this song all I could say was wow. So I just want to say Thank-you David for sing that song and making it even better than before. My boyfriend passed away from cancer so I will keep your brother in my prayers David
