This brings back some very hard and painful memories. My husband is Lebanese and was living in Lebanon at the time of the July war. I don't think I have ever been so scared in my entire life. I hate war and this was the first time that I was directly affected by any war. It is not a good feeling. I absolutely love Lebanon. Wish we could live there but I dont' think it is going to happen in my life time.
Sadly, the wars are only beginning. Russia, China, and other Eastern nations are forming a coalition to counter the west. They have stated they are willing to take the US and Israel's place in the war to secure these nations. This brings back some very hard and painful memories. My husband is Lebanese and was living in Lebanon at the time of the July war. I don't think I have ever been so scared in my entire life. I hate war and this was the first time that I was directly affected by any war. It is not a good feeling. I absolutely love Lebanon. Wish we could live there but I dont' think it is going to happen in my life time.

Sadly, the wars are only beginning. Russia, China, and other Eastern nations are forming a coalition to counter the west. They have stated they are willing to take the US and Israel's place in the war to secure these nations. So basically, China and Russia will invade that area in the name of peace, and more death will happen.

As our Grandparents learned that life was this way, so too do we need to learn this and forget our pipedreams of a world of peace and security, justice for everyone, espescially of our own making.
