I know it's too late but I say Fairy Tail. Reborn has its moments, but that filler in the Future Arc Killed me. That one arc was half the entire series, THAT IS BULLSHIT!!! At least Fairy Tail doesn't try to drag its story along the filler in Fairy Tail is short and enjoyable, so just on that aspect alone Fairy Tail already has the advantage

I say Reborn... I mean, the characters are actually working towards a fixed goal. Also while lambo may be annoying Byakuran is pure badass. Tsuna is too when he's in his "Pharoah" mode. As for Fairytail...it seems to me like everyone is just idly livng their life doing cool stuff but no character really has something they want to do! I dunno, when reading fairytail sure, it's funny! but I don't care too much for the characters and that is what makes Fairytail not so good

Natsu's power is based on strength however tsuna's power seems to be based on friendship which gets to the audience emotional. Even though it took 20 episodes to be serious however tsuna does grow to be stronger and wiser. The reason why tsuna cries is because he's 14....think about it. who wouldn't be shittin their pants.

Fairy tail is good, it is funny series but can't take natsu seriously.

Both of these series to me are not the best, but I have read both of them and even though fairy tail has alot of thing wrong in it I am gonna go with Fairy Tail. Reborn has annoying characters and like you said it's not even funny but thats just me.

TeamReborn. Although the animation in FairyTail is very good i find all the characters to be dull and unoriginal, i personally think the only intresting character design is makarov. Where as in Reborn they are all set apart by something as little as their stance or clothing. not even their facial details. showing theyre versatilty in something so simple.

Part 2: the recent chapters of KHR have been like "oh shit" while in fairy tail its been ".............". I like both series. i do. and i'm caught up with both but Reborn! is better. and is SO underrated. good guys lose in the series while in FT they do but in a "really?" way. Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is better. It just is. The art i accept in both but i still like KHR' better and the fights are better too. The plot and development is better and Reborn's protagonist is more realistic. Natsu is like 16 years old and is not luffy BUT he is so CLOSE to being a clone. Tsuna is a boy thats in 7 or 8th grade who is scared of the situations he's in especailly because it involved the Mafia but has developed to a point where he HAS to make a REAL decision.

In my opinion I believe that Katekyo Hitman reborn is the better anime. To argue against your opinion on main's I like Tsuna characteristics better than Natsu's. Natsu while pressing a strong and arrogant but very likable character feels very fictional. Where I believe Tsuna to be a more "real" character. Obviously when your going into a battle, especially when your not meant for it, is going to be scary for you. In addition this sense makes things more believable, like much more is on the line

My problems with Fairy Tail are mostly the story and Hiro's trolling. He constantly builds you up in the story but it always turns back to friendship, love, and a Nastu power up. Sorry but I though we were done with this whole boring "FRIENDSHIP!!" crap along time ago. And Nastu, god Nastu this guy has ruined the ending to all most every arc for me. It's not so much that he steals the spotlight from everyone(Right Laxus) but he doesn't even do it on his own. He's only won 2 battles without cont.

But Reborn's cast doesn't hold a candle to FT's cast cuz they develop.

Reborn characters don't develop emotainally as they do in powers. Tsuna and Hibari are almost frozen in development. And Erza, Grey, Lucy and others put alot of there development to use. Its not perfect but Reborn characters just feel so static.

The pacing in Hitman Reborn is slow(the beginining and future arcs for ex) but i find it more memorable than Fairy Tail that way.The Arcs in Fairy Tail build up so much hype and then end up being a little disappointing(like Tenrou Island Arc ) But with Reborn, i end up enjoying how everything turns out and concludes.Also, i like the goals in Reborn better than Fairy Tail since so many characters seek different things while Fairy Tail mostly just wants to be number 1 and to protect each other.

Look both series are good, But i felt that fairy talel started slower than hitman reborn. Also I don't like how fairy tale handles their powers and abilities. Keys to a different dimension? Really? One of my problems with fairy tale is that i can't take fights seriously anymore. Its the same routine bad guy overpowers good guy, good guy shows some emotion or desires to save friend, good guy suddenly becomes stronger than bad guy and wins. With the same routine you can't get emotionally involved in a fight when you know what's going to happen. On the other hand in Hitman Reborn, the good guys will lose, will struggle and train to become stronger which is more realistic than Fairy Tale.

imo fairy tail made a bad move when they did a time skip. they didnt do it as best as i think they could. hitman reborn vs fairy tail but hmm i'd have to say fairy tail anime and manga are better imo because it appeals to me more but theyre both good i guess; even though it messed up in the time skip. i never had too much expectations for fairy tail to suceed rave master or be the best. i saw this coming because thats the type of cliche anime it is. 'the power of friends' type of anime. ft ftw

Both good series imo but i dont like tsuna as a main protagonist compared(to the staightforward natsu); similar to luffy which i like in a main character. but i think hitman reborn has a better plot to it story wise and it takes it time better than ft does. im liking the hitman manga too and the action BUT i'd still go for fairy tail anime and manga because it appeals to me more in design and story wise too and i think the characters are are better displayed on fairy tail too but thats my imo.
