  • "Never on Sunday" by Henry Mancini and "I'm Movin' On" by Hank Snow. Of the first, it's not on Youtube or anywhere else I've looked and the second, there are three live versions and one rather poor recording off a 78 on youtube. Thanks much if you have them!

  • mrs doubtfire

  • On this date in 1963 {Jan. 26th} "Walk Like A Man" entered Billboard's Top 100 chart, eventually it would peaked at No. 1 {for 3 weeks} and spent a total of 13 weeks in the Top 100. This was the group's third No. 1 record out of a grand total of five numbers ones!!!

  • I've never considered this song to be anti-woman or girl; I think it's quite straight forward--a young man is being advised by his wise father to hold his head high and walk away from a lying mean girl. I agree that it's about growing up and getting on with life ( and eventually finding another love ).

  • the movie Heart & Souls brought me here. <3

  • i can fist pump to this

  • THUMPS UP IF KINECT SPORTS SEASON 2 BRANG YOU HERE!

  • @Simcity123c 'BRANG'? LOL

  • @Simcity123c brought* lol

  • the 60s and early 70s were the best era of music

  • Yeah the Wanderers! :D

  • You did good. Thanks.

  • Makes me think of the movie 'Heart & Souls'. Haha. :D

  • This was my childhood, I grew up listening to this. I also agree no-one appreciates this type of music anymore. Pity :)

  • awesome job love the video!!!!

  • @trampkilla13

Hi are you sure its by Frankie Valli and 4 seasons

could be lightning strikes by lou christie he sounds like FV and the words look like could be the chorus

  • @Newsagent61 actually you know what i have no clue if its frankie valli i honestly assumed it was him and the four season bkus there the only muscians ive heard with such high toned voice.

  • @trampkilla13

    Lou Christie

    Lightning strikes

  • Fabulous ... feel wonderful listening to the great American sound of The Four Seasons !!! One of their classics. What a great harmony and Frankie's high notes are flawless and smooth.

  • I'm 13 and I wish the other kids at my school would appreciate stuff like this. =)

  • @dequax That makes you the coolest 13-year-old around.

  • @dequax I see so many comments like yours I'm surprised they don't, perhaps we have a generation of closeted oldies lovers.

  • Just as this could be interpreted as having misogynistic meanings, I think it's just the artist's gender. This could just as easily be "Walk Like A Woman."

The Four Seasons are great. :D

  • all these oldie songs remind me of nyc

  • i love it and i love the four seasons if you like his song go to the jersey boys play when t comes to your town it is so cool

  • I was born in 1940 I like this song

  • OMG I WAS ENJOY THIS SONG TIL I REALISED ITS AN ANTI GIRL SONG

  • @girlygirlyblonde ITS NOT AN ANTI-GIRL SONG! Don't think of it as being gender-specific, but rather speaking of maturity. "Man" because the speaker is male. Act with maturity, like an adult (man). If the speaker was female, it would be "Walk like a woman." See?

  • Hey good channel, good song. Upload the song Mrs Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel.

  • SLEEPERS!!!!

  • @girlygirlyblonde omg i luvv tht movie sooo revenge-full lol

  • Mrs. Doubtfire LMAO

  • Girl: happy valentines day!

Boy: yep, i'm gonna sing a song for you.

    Girl:Okay!

Boy: *sings walk like a man*

Girl" O.o So i'm not worth walking off the earth?

    Boy: Exactly

    Girl: O.o....>.>

    Boy: So...

Girl: Just for that im going to PUSH YOU OFF THE EARTH

  • You did great!

  • One Sunday I went to Bobby's house and first saw little Nicky (Nick Massi's youngest son) who was five at the time. I had asked him if he knew that his Dad was about to perform on the Ed Sullivan show that night and he said yes. He said he spoke with his Dad on the phone. I asked what did he say? Little Nicky could only remember, with a big smile, that his Dad told him that he loves him. I'll never forget that. _John F

  • @jackDNA1 That's pretty interesting.

  • This particular Four Seasons song has much meaning to me. When I was a young boy I used to hang out with Bobby M. (Nick Massi's son) In the very early 60's I would visit their house to see Bobby and the GOLD record for Walk Like A Man would be set on the living room mantle. This was one of their early number one hits. It has been played in almost a half dozen movies that I know of and probably more.

  • Had my heart torn apart a few months ago. This song really inspired me to "walk like a man" away from the pain.

  • You did fine until you stuck that stoopid "tell me how I did" screen in the middle and self-credits thing.

Luckily you can't screw up Frankie.

  • need the lyrics lol

  • If you love this music, go see "Jersey Boys" Musical... so good....

  • @mrguystarr I LOVED THAT MUSICAL

  • Frankie Valli might as well be an extremely ugly girl with a horrible voice.

  • You did GREAT!

  • I love the mix of the real group and THE JERSEY BOYS groups. It's a fabulous play. And I love the Four Seasons even more since seeing the story. You did a great job.

  • This is such an awesome song. It's a current favourite of mine :)

  • Yeah and sing like a freakin' woman by the sound of it. Is someone like squeezing the singer's nuts in this song?

  • Reminds me of Mrs Doubtfire class film.

  • SURFERS RULE!!! (Four Seasons, you better believe it!)

  • Great sound quality, I danced to thiis in 63 and loved it, certainly an enormous favourite on juke boxes.
