  • fuck you copy right wankers

  • For the censored soundtrack - see Muse 'resistance' but the jet sound at the end is pure censorship - it was haunting - and I hope it will haunt this UK administration of idiots and cretins for many years to come :)

  • so was the sound of the jet engines at the end also an infringement - ????

  • WMG: tossers !!!

  • 7:08 The sadest sound I have ever heard!

  • well i emailed no. 10 again - not that they listen - even sent them the link to this so that when we need the Harriers in anger [again] they can look back at the moment when, they could have, but didn't, demonstrate any foresight whatsoever. ... I'm just fuming !!!!

  • LDP = Liars; Tory's = Liars; Labour = Liars: Combined in any order - inept, stupid, and shortsighted = pathetic!!

  • what's the music??

  • I work on these for the US. were trying to buy these for parts

  • @Gregiorp I think they could be yours if you ask the right people! He lives at 10 Downing Street, London....

  • Is now a good time to get bitter & twisted about SDSR & some shocking government spending decisions?

  • @1973party

Absolutely, I came out the RAF nearly 3 years ago to work on Dominies at Cranwell, found out this week that they will now be scrapped at the end of January.

  • @Bish292

My wife said it was like a death cry, haunting.

  • The Harriers have been at RAF Cottesmore since 1999, when 3(f) SQN & IV(AC) returned from Germany. 1(f)SQN was moved to Cottesmore about 8 years ago leaving 20(R) SQN at Wittering. Recently with the disbanding of 20(R), IV(AC) was renamed IV(R) and replaced the Harriers at Wittering.

  • @Shmeeeeeee

Thanks for the explanation, i knew the harriers had been at cotesmoret as well as wittering but i guess with my brother leaving there last year i hadnt really thought anymore about it when i think harriers i think wittering i guess i always will

  • I still can't believe they are gone! My brother, my brother in law and my dad have all worked with harriers I spent the first few years of my life at wittering. It will always be my favourite aircraft and I will always feel a bit sad this wasnt done from wittering...does anyone know why they moved to cott last week? I dont understand it but I hope there was a good reason.

  • End of an era..

  • A truly epic aircraft which will be missed by all both in uniform and out!

  • That final sound will haunt me for many years to come...

  • @bish292 : and me :(

  • Must have been wierd seeing them in for the last time. Proud to have been an ex Harrier liney. Still bitter and twisted!
