you know, they could have implemented 64 player mode to consoles, but that would give you guys too much lag, so they just left it out. plus, in the next update you guys get customizable server making thing that us pc gamers have. so yeah. the only reason you guys dont have it is because consoles are WEAK
I just can't see myself playing any other shooter in multiplayer than bf3, not that all other games suck, I'm just used to being able to blow up a fuckton of shit.
I loved MW2. But with MW3 i expected it to have some changes to the previous game. None was delivered. The story COULD have been better etc.. I loved MW2 with all of it's adrenaline filled single AND multiplayer gameplays. I just don't want to pay 70 euros to buy a game that makes me feel like they didn't even try to make it better.
As a PS3 player and PC player, I play Battlefield 3 on PC. FPS shooters are rather lame on consoles, but for driving and RPG games consoles excels in this area. MW2 was rather poor for the PC, the game was a second thought for the PC. Matchmaking system is a real frustration when you had no real way of kicking hackers.
MW2 in itself was dumbed down and limited, there was no option to select how much kills a team needed to win or the time limit like in COD4, etc.
If you guys would stop treating every PC gamer like an Elitest, and realize all we want is the same value for our money as you guys get, there wouldn't be as many pointless fanboy arguments.

I'm on xbox and even then call of duty still sucks. For the dlc you have to pay fifty more dollars for nine maps. Those maps suck ass, bf3 gave me a FREE map pack reminding me why battlefield is better.
I only got MW3 because it's my stress relief game, where you can hop in a lobby and kill 7 guys with a sniper in CQB. Kinda get's rid of that being spawn raped on caspian border feeling pretty good.

Both games offer great things. MW3 offers a better storyline and better weapon customization in multiplayer plus specops but BF3 offers destructible enviroments and great multiplayer.

@jas881 It is a lot of work to convert features from PC to console. They have to downgrade it to make consoles barely support it. Consoles really cripple PC games because of this. PC is what everything is made on.

bf3 uses a mix of dedicated server-clientside netcode.
the aimbot stuff (or the hacks in general) are on the clientside of the netcode.
and hacking serverfiles from a server that has no clientside stuff at all aint impossible ether!

in all seriousness i think there should be no rivalry between BF and CoD... i play both and enjoy them equally, but they are different games! it only depends on what you like to play or what mood you are in... for my example when i want to jump on quickly and have an easy bit of fun playing aggressive and such, i play CoD... then when i feel like i want a realistic battle game to play and to play it more strategically i play BF... simplesss!

I'm on xbox and even then call of duty still sucks. For the dlc you have to pay fifty more dollars for nine maps. Those maps suck ass, bf3 gave me a FREE map pack reminding me why battlefield is better.

I only got MW3 because it's my stress relief game, where you can hop in a lobby and kill 7 guys with a sniper in CQB. Kinda get's rid of that being spawn raped on caspian border feeling pretty good.

Both games offer great things. MW3 offers a better storyline and better weapon customization in multiplayer plus specops but BF3 offers destructible enviroments and great multiplayer.
