i used special effects 'joyride' which is also UV reactive, i bleaced my hair which was currently a dark purple anyway then did it and it looked fine after the third wash half of it is pink :( what did i do wrong?

@Hoosiergemstar you probably didn't do anything wrong but keep in mind the hotter the water is when you wash your hair the faster it will fade, so if your willing to keep the colour vibrant and last longer you should wash your hair with water as cold as you can stand aha

@SmethRigh you could probably try ebay but i don't think you would get it much cheaper :s and yes definitely! it gives a really strong vibrant colour and you can leave it on for as long as you like...literally :]

@123greenlover123 this was the faded purple :] i was just dying over it aha. bleach does work but it's damaging :s you would have to do several bleach jobs to get it light again, i would definitely not recommend doing it yourself.....i know from a bad experience of trying to go from black to blonde in one day hahaha, get it done professionally :'] <3

@bekah745 vibrant colours only tint dark hair, if you dyed it on the blonde it would come out vibrant even if you diluted it and it would be very noticeable. i think you should make your hair all on colour, so dark if you just wanted to tint it :]

@ThePaigelovesu you can do but it would only give it a pink tint, if you want it to be really bright then you have to lighten your hair first, remember it can always be repaired if it's damaged :] trim it every so often and always use conditioner
