I was surprised you guys liked this as much as you did.

I personally thought Blackest Night Batman and Blackest Night Titans handled the concept of the Black Lanterns much better by use of traumatic nightmare scenarios compared to Blackest Night Superman just using the same old Black-Lanterns-verbally-psyche­-heroes-out thing.

I also think Psycho Pirate's mask was a little too deus ex machina for my tastes whereas Dove in Titans had at least something special about her hinted at in BK #1.

Personally I did like this mini-series, but I felt that the Batman mini-series was so much better. How they explored the emotional problems Dick and Red Robin had when facing they're parents was gut renching and showed how truly evil the black lanterns can be. I thought it was really interesting to have them rewitness they're parents deaths to bring out rage which the lanterns use to make their hearts more appetisizing sick but interesting lol.

BN Supes is definitely my favorite of the three tie in minis thus far. I love the constant juxtaposition of the Norman Rockwell-esque Smallville and the nightmarish Black Lantern invasion.

the Batman BN mini was good, but the others are getting repetitive.

I've read the Siperman ones. that was fine.  Titans BN and others were meh.

Also BN needs to start progressing a little faster. I'm not going to get into the bs going on with the colors in BN its ridiculous

I enjoyed BN Superman & Titans were great minis, Batman one was meh. My LCS gave me my BN rings for free w/ the BN titles I bought.

I love these BN minis so far. the only mini that seems to move the BN story along would be the ending of BN: titans #3. also i got Doom patrol and didnt get a ring instead there charging me 2.00 for one! wtf??

The way they got New Krypton outta BL was kinda lame, a freakin' bubble keeping the black lanterns out yet keeping the kryptonians. Not that great a solution

Could not agree more! I've heard so many people say that if they read any tie-ins they'll limit it to Superman and Batman but skip Titans. Big mistake! I thought it as good as Superman and better than Batman. I was so surprised. Don't skip these books!

Dark Reign was a patently obvious cash grab even worst than Secret Invasion was. I recall one month (june or july) where marvel launched 13 $3.99 dark reign minis which were mostly SHIT. Dark Reign Mister Negative??? I mean really joe quesada what the fucking fuck???

I'm enjoying Blackest Night a lot, DC editorial have been VERY smart with the way they've structured the build up so far.

You know what this event reminds me of?... Inferno from 1988-89.

You had the core event in Uncanny X-men, X-factor and New Mutants but cool mini's like X-terminators which added to the story plus the demon influence from Inferno spread through the other Marvel Universe titles like FF, Cap etc

I remember one of the first issues of Avengers I ever got had no Avengers in it! Just Jarvis walking the streets of NY battling a demon-possessed car....and it was fucking EPIC!

Yeah, it's nice how we have closure to the BN Superman books, I hate open endings. Maybe we'll see some of the anti-backtern items appear in the green lantern storyline, like the planetary force field and medusa mask.

Considering that Bendis is writing The Siege "good" is probably not the word I would use to describe it.

Well... if we're lucky he might pull have a HALF decent job. I mean it has happened occasionaly. And besides it's better than Jeph Loeb doing it . If he did Cap. would be killed again, along with half of the Marvel U. and it would be revealed that the mysterious character Norman is threatening everybody with is RULK (or Retarded Hulk).
