Pandora & B.B. were both rescue kittys, Pandora was found in the middle of Dec wondering the streets alone, cold & hungry and was taken to a family member who gave her to us. B.B. was rescued from a very bad home, where he was kept in the basement and wasnt allowed out, it was very dark, dirty and wet. From it being so awful caused him to get sick.

So sorry for your loss. I've lost a few myself growing up. Its never easy for the ones left behind. I've always had the pleasure of their company (cats/dogs) growing up. My wife and I can't adopt right now for a host of reasons but hopefuly sometime soon.

my dog i had for whole day cause it followed me and my friend diden't have a name tag on it, it was so cute it was a husky and noyone called in or looked for it so we gave it to bylaw and i miss it so much i called him chewey and played with him for the whole day and he bite me alot he was teething and stuff and i miss him so much right now atleast hes going back to his owner.Too bad my parents dont let me have a dog :(

I know it is an extremely hard thing to go through. My family has lost 3 of it's members this year and I was sad to think a 4th was coming.

All was good though...little Loki boy managed get himself back on track. Good thing too. He means the world to me and while he was at the vet..I was in tears!

I am so sorry about your dogs but they are waiting! And there is going to be so much to do! So many memories and good times and who know, maybe dogs can talk in heaven!!

I lost a very good friend to Feline Leukemia... Her name was Misty.. We found her as a stray, she was extremely gentle and kind, the only anime I have ever known to acaully lay with you when she knows your sad, or try to make you laugh... She was a great friend... Tonight I finally brokedown and shead my tears on behalf of everyone who has lost loved ones especially pets. After trying to hold it in watching a few vids on pets who passed away I just finally couldnt anymore and brokedown. I had a husky once, but I got her when a family we knew didnt want her anymore. Sky kept running away but she always came back, but at one day she ran away but never came back. Sorry for your losses and to everyone else's losses.

I adopted my Boxers when they were senior girls from their shelters or they were certain to be put down. Maisy Mae passed of Cushings Disease and Polly of Brain cancer. They both passed in 2005 only being with me 2 years of their lives. While I'd like to think they may have been the best years of their lives... I adopted Sheba when she was pretty old, and she already had bad hips, heart worm and been neglected.  While she regained pretty good health, at the end her hips and system were just too racked by arthritis and the damage from heart worm. She greatly affectly the foster children that have lived here, and just confirmed to me that German Shepards are one of the greatest dog breeds in the world.

In 2005 I had to travel from WI to Ohio, as my grandfather was in his final days at home, and was there....I had 10 good days with him and got to be there when he passed. After grandpa past, I went to the humane society to visit and came home with Sheba, my black German Shepard. We had to have her put down at home on Feb 12 2008. It is so hard losing a loved one, four legged or two. God be with you, Shutterbug.

Beautiful pets!!! I am sure they are in heaven now.When my dog died,I prayed,and I had a spiritual experience.There is something for them after death too.They are also God's creatures.They are our little angels on earth.

P.S: I noticed your pets died in the same year,and 1 and 3 month after each other.I think it is possible that your house is built with water under,so pets can catch easily disease,pets have a sixth sense,they are like sponge,and then become sick easily.

Thanks for the comment, But I don't think thats the case about the water, Simba was battling Tumors years before we moved here, which caused the type of cancer she had. B B was a rescue cat and was sick when we got him, we just tried to make his time left on earth as good as we could till his kidneys failed on him at the vets, same as Pandora she was a rescue and was born with Feline Leukemia. Powder was just sick, her last blood work didn't turn out to great.

We did, 2 actually. One was a rescue from a puppy mill her name is Spirit, She's a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, the other one Mozart is a St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix, and they r both spoiled rotten.

I don't know how you got thru it - such sadness - I had to put down my beloved 8-year-old deaf dog Blue Bell last December - it all but killed me - I believe that she is still with me like an angel. I practice remembering everyday, what it felt like kiss her sweet face and the wonderful smell of her fur. I'm afraid that if I don't do this, I will lose her totally. Maybe I'm crazy, I don't know. Oh I feel so very much for you and all affected in your family. I feel so upset watching this wonderful tribute, goodness knows how you are feeling with so many partings in such a short time, I know I couldn't cope with so many so soon.
