They wear red short tunics for freedom of movements...and then they wear heavy armor a big round shield a normal short sword helmet and a spear..They had only one task from the age of 7, exercise in the art of war.Even the king did not have any luxuries...they where taugh strict siciplined warriors. (beside the fact that my father is Spartian im also an archaiology student so you can trust me;) )
