    Hong Kong people prospered under Britain's governance, and Hong Kong would not be prosperous without the work ethic of the Hong Kong people. A mutual relation that develop Hong Kong into the economic international city it is today.

  • This is very good quality for the 8mm film, and was shot nicely. I would even say "professionally" when I saw how smooth of the pan & tilt shots with the equipment back then. Good Job!!!

  • HK in 1960s was in fact a very modern city, with many cars and tall buildings

  • This is good. Most of the old Hong Kong pictures and clips were concentrated in Hong Kong Island. I think I did see some old Kowloon in this clip. Thank you for sharing.

    1962 I was student of P1, I remember I got my two cameras when I was primary 5 to 6, Voigtlander Vito CLR

    and Minato Hi-Matric II. Now I looking for training course for taking /editing movie and DSLR from Canon.

  • Oh, how very nostalgic! Being born in 1962 this was the Hong Kong I was too young to see, but this video brings it back to the present. It lets me see with my own eyes what my parents saw. Thanks for posting.
