what the hell is wrong with this game's puzzles? they want you decipher ridiculous phrases, then make random words into anagrams, and others mean something almost completely different. Then, they just tell you the answers anyway... :|
I really wish you'd set up the capture area properly. leaving it like that makes it seem that you don't know how to resize it. Unless that's the issue.
Oh I do know how to resize it properly but since I work with computers I work with the idiom "Never touch a running system" :P
Everything important was captured, nothing was missed so why resize it and having it to resize everytime I play another game since all my other 'consoles' are set fit to this size.
This reminds me of movies like Sherlock Holmes or Detective Conan where they get told "Winter coat worn for a mixer" and they solve it like the PDA said it "Oh worn means destroyed and a mixer might be a beaverage ... oh and winter coat is an anagramm for tonic water! THAT'S IT!"
And I usually sit infront of the TV like that: :| wtf?
I'm not a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan, but I'm the exact opposite for Detective Conan (one of the best anime series put on t.v., and yet Cartoon Network pulled the plug during season two. -the hell?)
Getting back to the game and why I hate it so, you have to find random objects by solving random riddles. I mean, if I wanted to play point and click puzzle games, I'd check Sierra for Space Quest or King's Quest games. I was nice in the 7th Guest, but it's time to show my dark side, here and now.
@eldanloco The first clue is very cryptic, I admit; but they get easier as you go, especially since half the clues contain anagrams for some reason. Once you realize that, you start looking for anagrams and hidden words in every clue automatically.

@krononomikon They're cryptic crossword clues. There's probably 20 or 30 in your newspaper every morning.

These clues are standard cryptic crossword fare - you're meant to be able to work it out from the original clue only.

Funny commentary haha.
I played this game many, many years ago. I remember the book puzzle, it was doable, but those clues for the objects you need to find,
"Winter coat worn for a mixer"
Nobody on the planet could figure get 'tonic water' from that, I don't care how long they had. I wanna slap the developers in the face lol.
