I think Bond is a better literary character and film character particularly because he can and has adapted for every generation. While i love the Bourne movies and especially the game, Bourne is a generic action movie character template, and the only reason he is even a significant one is because hes a well acted character in that rare form of action movie that we call " a well written" action movie.

So yea, the new Bond borrowed some Bourn. Its called adaptation. It still retains personality.

Daniel Craig is the best by far i think, he managed to portray the un taimed Bond, before he became what he became by the older Bonds, since they all represent the fully developped Bond. By All means most of them did a very good job specialy Brosnen, but he would not have done the Un taimed fully developped bond Bond i would have thought.

Craig certaintly adds more dimensions to his character than the other bonds do. He managed to show more emotion in his performance in that he showed a darker and more realistic side to Bond's job. I liked him because he stood out from all the others with his calculating and connving manner but of course, I still like the performances of the other Bonds. Bond, in general, rocks!!

I think Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby were the only ones that did a shitty job. Connery, Moory, Brosnan, and Craig do a good job with the role. I wouldn't say Craig is the best, simply because he's more of what today's action hero looks like, not what Bond was originally. Plus he has a lot of new technology to help. But he still does okay.

Ian Fleming wrote this short story at a crucial time in his life when he realized he was getting married at age 45 and how single life was coming to an end. Basically it was a loveless marriage.

But this footage from the featurettes shows actual scenes of QoS, so when people watch it, they get an idea what QoS will lok like.

They are all good actors, and they are all good films... if your a big bond fan, you will appreciate them all.

Sean Connery was original and good all round.

Roger Moore was witty, but abit girly.

Brosnan was the one I grew up with and was the best bond of the 21st century, goldeneye was amazing, but Die Another Day was rubbish, not brosnans fault.

Daniel Craig is different, but certainly more like the books describe him, i reakin he was a better choice than all the others.

playboy meaning you're all about the women. although moore and brosnan are a part of the respected 007's, what sets them apart is that critics think of them as playboys. one look at the woman's face and its sex for breakfast....that kind of thing. a lot of critics also say that craig shows an entirely different side of bond, but its one that comes approximately close to fleming's intended version. a lot of bond fans wants to see a more human side of bond and not just sci fi gadgets and women.

Brosnan and Connery are the best Bonds, in my opinion; too early to say about Craig, but he's as good in QOS as he was in CR, he'll make the list, reminds me so much of Connery, that's probably why they chose him since they're going back to that sort of style. Both are a bit too serious, though, that's what I liked about Brosnan, he could be really pissed and still find time for a quip. Moore was alright; a bit cheesy and old but remember it was the 70's.

Dalton was bad, Lazenby was horrid.

The release date is Nov 7th as yet, but there's no way this is the official trailer since that's not due for release till July and I imagine it will be much better picture quality, sound quality and will show some parts we haven't all already seen on the news. I'm hoping it will tell us a bit about the plot coz this cleverly forged trailer suggests that the film is all about stunts with the odd line from Casino Royale.
