yeah, it's called thrash metal, that's the feel we were going for. you can take any riff from any thrash song and say it sounds like some other riff. anyway give hit the lights another listen and you will hear that it's quite different. also listen to more of the song than the first minute because it changes up big time

Ok so the song sounds like hit the lights. Well its not the same notes cuz i already pulled out my guitar and figured out this song. The only thing thats the same is Hammer on and pull off thingy. And come ppl like metallica never copied off anybody else "cough cough" Diamond Head and various other NWOBHM bands. Also you want blatent plagerism check out the Megadeth song When. Sounds exactly like Am I Evil. It happens all the time in music. Good song, and sweet solo and fast part after the solo

all bands are bound to sound like others to some extent........metallica have been influenced by diamond head and other various NWOBHM bands....templar have obviously been influenced by metallica......

although when your riffs sound this close to other songs.....
