  • I've been hesitant to buy boards online since everyplace i have checked charge and arm and a leg for shipping of boards. The shipping is almost the same amount for the purchase of the boards...essentially doubling the price of the boards. Currently i can go to my local shop and they will give me a discount on bulk orders, so i usually buy a years worth or so at one time and get a pretty good deal.

  • @bromyne

Yeah it was one of the toughest things for me to find first of all and at a good price just for the items and shipping was a bitch to find a deal on. Since this video though I found a comic shop that has the same ones for only 9.99 bags and 7.99 for the boards. Not sure if I have enough for a year but def. enough for now! Thanks for checking my vid out too

  • i like them!

  • I just put in an order to E-Gerber, i've heard they're the best and one of the least expensive. You can even get custom size boards, which I did (fullbacks).

  • @maishiranui33

Hey that's pretty cool I might check 'em out

  • hey i have a question, does the each comic need to have a board or will it still be safe?

  • @AwesomeOne513

Do you mean if you only use a bag? Without the board the spine of the comic could easily still get damaged. Are you wanting to bag and board just current issues or some older ones that are worth some money?

  • @ComiCCloseup just current issues

  • @AwesomeOne513

As long as you have them in a comic box or as long as they don't get moved around a lot they would be fine without a board. if you had older issues I go with mylar bags as they do not decompose over time like the regular plastic ones... even so they last a really long time so I wouldn't worry

  • @ComiCCloseup thanks for the help:) and also just out of curiosity is a comic book like from 1992 considered and old issue?

  • @AwesomeOne513

Sure no prob! Being its in the 90's its still officially "current" for me when I say old I go back at least to the 70's

  • Use archival quality mylar bags...they never need to be replaced .

  • I have ultra pro comic bags and i was wondering if you bend the back board a little because when i get my back boards they are a slightly bent. I'm not sure if that is bad or good or if it bends the comic

  • @xXNHMXx

I wouldn't say mine are bent but slightly not completely flat not bad enough to damage the comic or make the comic bend the same way. I have checked later to see if it bent the comics after putting them away and after being in the comic box up against the other comics the board was straight and the comic was perfect. Thanks for checking out my video! I've got tons more and if your not subbed already I hope that you would I would really appreciate it

  • How much did it all cost

  • @dutyfan11 Yeah, it's so confusing. I wish someone would sell bags and boards with straightforward pricing. God. It's all over the place and really confusing.

I want to buy 1000 bags and boards in one go. Preferably, with the boards already in the bag. Is that so hard? Yes. Yes it apparently is.

  • @BradyDale

Boards already in the bags... YES PLEASE!!!! Hey I smell a business proposition...

  • you dont get mylar?!

  • Not for current issues I do however for older key issues.
