  • If any of you always get cutscenes like this, and can't fix it. Try downloading this

    ht tp : //btjunkie. org / torrent / Resident-Evil-4-PC-HD-Hi-Res-Movie-CutScenes-Turbo-Patch-1-1-7/43587bcb9aef0d1974f3280c1c3cae88409219571f08

    (remove the spaces)

    It worked for me :)

  • @Garindoo well i have this cutscenes but i don't need to download it with torrent because i have some problems with torrent :( is there are another link? (not torrent)

  • @MegaLeon9999 Sorry, I don't know any normal downloads of these files. You'll have to google it for yourself :)

  • @Garindoo ah okay no problem thanks anyway

  • These are actually left overs from the GC ver and they appear when you delete the Movie folder ... lazy capcom ....

  • The pc version is ass, firstly the fucking resolution cant be adjusted properly, they only give you like 2 choices, which both doesnt give me fullscreen,i have to fucking mess around with all the files to make them fullscreen, then the fucking cutscenes, they look like shit

  • @HIM666dark6light you can adjust it by modifying the .ini file in the directory

  • @TheCompScientist yeah you can,but why cant the feature of changing the resolution to max be not available?

  • @HIM666dark6light i think its mostly due to the fact that this is a direct port from the PS2 version. PS2 did not support a lot of formats. Also (correct me if i am wrong) but resolutions higher than 720p werent so popular back in 05-06 when this port was in development. But judging from the quality of the game the developers obviously didnt put much thought into anything, so they mustve decided "awwww screw it" and decided not to include higher resolutions

  • If capcom took this seriously this could have been a badass game maybe better than the gamecube version :(

The Wii version owns it all

  • @riomigz1305 with mods, it is better than all versions.

  • @riomigz1305 and it looks lovely on my Full HD 50 inch monitor :)

  • I guess Capcom programmers still live in the time of RE1/2/3, where FMV cut scenes were like a huge bonus, since game graphics level was much lower in that time. I remember how I liked to watch them, especially in RE1 and RE2.

RE4 plays the FMV cut scene and the real-time one simultaneously, (at least on my PC), and if the FMV one srops for a second, I can see the real-time one too, a second ahead. If they're synchronised, the scene is flickering due to both of them being on the screen.

  • why do my cut scenes open in a different window???

  • did that guy at the beginning rub his ass ?

  • Ok, i'm having the same problem. Anyone, know how to fix it?

  • i watch these cutscenes all the time

mainly because my game freezes all the time during the cutscenes so it does this half the time

  • no it's not. Its a mod that replaces the buttons with Xbox 360 buttons.

    St. Vamp made it.

  • Thanks for info man, lol i should've researched my suspicion a bit instead of blurting out something i "thought" was true

  • No fool that's the 360 controller hes using you moron.

  • you are an idiot

  • Nice. XD

  • your pc graphics like gamecube

  • every game needs real time cutscenes, they make it so much better at times.

  • Also it save space compared to pre rendered cut scenes

  • Capcom should use real-time cutscenes just like in the Wii and Gamecube Versions. I guess they were just too lazy to do it :(

  • @David9858 They couldn't do it on the PS2.

  • @David9858 someone prolly pointed it out but capcom didnt port this game to PC, it was done by another company and Ubisoft published it. It was the first and last game Capcom leased out to be ported to PC by some other company. Capcom ported RE5 to PC and look at it: it runs at DX10 with ingame cutscenes

  • What... in... the... hell....?

  • Ok, just so everyone knows, the PC version has FULLY working cutscenes. This is some kind of coding. It seems that they had versions encoding into the game.exe :/

  • no its the movie folder

  • That's why Capcom gets fucked up with RE4 PC cutscenes...

  • im guessing the code makes the people invisible during the cutscenes?

  • what's the point??? i don't get it, did i miss something..

  • hmmm

  • Oh geez. Lazy sons of bitches. They'd rather waste 2 gigs of hard drive space with crappily encoded videos recorded from the console version than make the cut scenes work. Thats just lovely.

  • 7 Gig

  • The videos themselves are about 2 gigs, full game directory is 7.

  • WTF? Why didn't they do real-time cutscenes then? Too lazy?

  • when i did that they were supposed to talk to you

  • yeah, this isn't all that great.

  • Stupid.

  • very interesting.....
