Yes it was! I watched it as a kid and just remembered it, came looking on-line and am amazed...it isn't around anywhere in English. No DVD to buy, only obscure to find VHS copies if you are lucky enough to get an English one...:-(

Actually, Vicky Was a boy and the translation on his name sucked. The cartoon was originally from Sweden and his name was Vicke, a shortening for Victor.
