I think the medals should represent points. gold being 3 silver being 2 and bronze being 1 atleast so 14 gold medals actually counts for something

Vonn SUCKS. Either she wins gold by pure luck or--she FALLS! Haha. She fell in 3 races! Wow very consistent skier. As for Maria, she's an all-round skier and doesn't stumble every other race. She won super-combined as well as slalom. Great job for your 2 golds Maria! And BTW: Canada won 14 gold medals while US (with a population 10x bigger) won only 9. Sad... Looks like the so-called "americans" prefer quantity over quality!

Bottom line in snow boarding, skiing, ice skating with few exceptions the USA falls on it's ass. Glad for the ones who managed to stop showboating and stay on their feet for a few minutes.
