It's a good movie, and the people who think they're turned on by this however are just trying to be provocative. Luckily, John Waters made a point with the American public and how they worship criminals as celebrities, and how morally depraved they are while -also- making it funny. Gags on the idiots with this one, good flick too.

Serial Mom is definitely one of the best Black Comedies ever made - intriguing storyline, fantastic acting. Kathleen Turner was perfect as Beverly R. Sutphin. Sam Waterston, Ricki Lake, Matthew Lillard and Justin Whalin were great as well.

Serial Mom is one of the most underrated movies of the 90's.
