  • Hey, I own the exact same car and bike rack! Now I just need to get a recumbent.

  • I have a VR54 with under seat steering and love it. Now of course I haven't taken it out for a ride in almost 7 months...shame on me. The last time we rode we place over 100 miles on her. Great ride. We total our rides in a week, not a day, averaging 23-50 in a day. I don't ride in traffic because I consider it a touring bike.

These bikes are the Cadillac of the recumbents. Enjoy your bike. The company is out of business I believe. Sad.

  • I just finished my first century on a VisionR40.

Very nice bike, I converted mine to above seat steering, though.

  • I've had both and prefer the 20" front. I ride mostly bike trails and finf this setup perfect for that type of riding.

  • Do you like the 20 inch front wheel or the 26??

  • They really arn't that hard to ride. It didn't take much at all to get used to it. I love the under seat steering, its very relaxing to ride.

  • Yes it does i fucked myself up earlier today on one lol

  • hurt to fall on that

  • The LWB version would have been far easier to start on - the recumbent equivalent of beginning surfing on a longboard. The Vision has a life of its own.

  • The brakes (disc) on my Volae Expedition make a lot of noise when I use them too. Works out good 'cause that way people know I'm there...

Nice Video - My 1st bent was a USS.
