My work: I'm a Jazz musician. SSSOOO many jazz musicians all ovr th world wanna live & play (wrk) in NY. I'm lucky enough to be living my (musical/career) dream. I have to stay here 4 that reason, but wanna w/draw from the stupid legal system. If I become a Freeman, the US will say "Fine, but do it in your own country" & I don't wanna go back to Oz. Interesting situation, huh? mayb I hav 2 w8 'til I get US Citizenshp (5 yrs), only 2 giv it up...?

i.e. can't really renounce what's not mine. I'm not a "US Citizen" so I can't give up Citizenship that I don't have. I did everything I thought I should have: always had a valid Visa since Jan '98. Do you kno how hard it is to get a "Greencard"? Almost impossible these days, but won mine in th Greencard Lottery, after years of working so hard for Immigration legality. * i did not identify until i was threatened and then only under protest

but some cops are ignorant and on a power trip.. bad mix.

they're basicly asking for consent to give you a ticket or arrest you. but when not given that, they'll go mad.

so when in a situation with a policy inforcer calm him/her down and show him that you could be his supervisor by what you now and communicate with him..
