I didn't like this movie because 99% of it takes place inside that lab. The only time Kevin Bacon's character goes out just does stupid stuff. Being invisible gives you a lot of interesting things to do but what he does? He rapes a poor girl as he never had sex before. Come on...

I though that it was a superhero movie in the realm of "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", but went on to realize that it was quite sinister. The soundtrack was creepy, and so was Bacon's audible, yet menacing voice. It was a guilty pleasure for me.

@tascott59 Well when someone on a day to day basis is a good person but then they start doing evil things it's unrecognisable of the person they used to be, and eventually facial features such as the look in their eye and the set of their mouth would change and when you caught a glimpse of that unrecognisable face in the mirror it tends to jolt people back into reality, but because he's invisible and he can't see that he doesn't feel the jolt or the pull back to reality and normalcy.
